A Discovery Flight is an experience were you get to see what it's like to fly the airplane. You book a lesson with a flight instructor who will take you through the steps of the pre-flight. Once you are in the air, they will let you take control of the aircraft and see what it's like to pilot the aircraft. Then when you get back on the ground, the flight instructor will answer any questions you might have. Call us at 877-FLY-UTAH to schedule a Discovery Flight.

Several of our flight instructors use those 'apps' and would be able to show you how they work. Feel free to stop by to have them demonstrate these to you.

A discovery flight is an introductory flight where you get to experience what it's like to fly. The person who is taking the Discovery Flight will have the opportunity to go along on an airplane ride with a Flight Instructor and have a chance to take the controls of an airplane. This is a wonderful chance to see how easy it is to fly! Please call us to schedule (801) 326-8250 or (435) 752-5955.

We do not currently have any light sport aircraft, but we are anticipating delivery of the new Cessna Skycatchers sometime this year. I would advise just pursuing the private pilot license, which will allow you to fly LSA if you so choose on top of the other benefits. As far as the hours go they are more, but you will find it takes the same amount of time to train to proficiency for the private pilot license as it does for an LSA certificate. The requirements are less for the LSA but for the most part not attainable, most end up training for a private license because it is a wash as far as price at that point.
