      How would you react if you found out a fine young fellow you'd been sweet on was FTM?

      I would be surprised, for sure. Tough one. That would probably end the romantic element for me, because my personal views are somewhat traditional and conservative... It would be hard for me to stay interested that way.
      However, surely this "fine young fellow" would have had some amazing qualities that impressed me to begin with! I feel as if he and I should therefore be dear friends.

      One resolution: go to class. The holidays were okay. I spent a magical New Year's Eve with my wonderful boyfriend whom I love, then I worked for a week with one of the kindest, most brilliant people I know. :)

      i've always wanted to get in the manga but it's hard to get the official translated copies nowadays. i think they went out of print a few years ago :(

      For Sailor Moon? Bummer. I actually like the artwork better in the anime, anyways, though!

      seriously, what was up with star maker's "gentle uterus" attack? could that have not been more awkwardly named?! "serious laser" & "sensitive inferno"? like a laser's not serious enough and since when is an inferno sensitive?! i ramble/rant yet again

      I AGREE. Not only were they terribly named, but disappointingly animated. Was that really how it was translated in the manga, I wonder? I personally think they should've had moves based off of different dances. That's something none of the original Sailors had, and it has the potential for some rad creative design. I'm thinking "Aqua Rhapsody" (which was cool, despite Mercury's lameness) meets Final Fantasy's Songstress dressphere (which was brilliant, despite the weak battle system).

      jupiter's dub voice was the only constant one throughout the series (not counting mars or luna/artemis)! what do you think about the sailor starlights - too much skin? completely (and literally!) out of this world?

      I don't know how to feel about the Starlights. I'm more familiar with the anime than with the manga, but the transition of gender made me uneasy. I wish the Starlights themselves had at least been more developed as personalities, there was a lot of potential for creating beautiful internal crises there. Also, their outfits and attacks in general could use work. :P

      i had to exceed the character limit from my last question (the one about sailor venus). ANYWAYS, i totally agree with you on jupiter. she's the best!! i love the civic crown background in her super form. it makes that "going greek" thing even better!!

      I love how she's both domestic AND tough. It's that kind of personality complexity that's great. Also, I love her early English dub voice... It's so striking.
