      if one was just becoming a dc comics fan, what would you recommend them and what tips would you give to become a loyal comic book fan?

      well since this is the last month of comics before the new number ones, i think i would just go to a shop in september and pick out whatever titles catch your interest! personally, i've always loved the bat family titles and the green lantern titles, but i can't really point you in any direction right now since i'm not sure what the new titles are going to be like.

      and when it comes to being a loyal comic book fan, its really all about reading what makes you happy! you can also check out some local conventions, and don't be afraid to pick up some new material. as long as you like what you're reading, and you're having fun, thats all that matters.
