i was engaged for just five months. So in retrospect that was a lot to put together in 5 months, and also we were 1000 of miles apart from one another, and 1000 of miles from the venue. I was in grad school and teaching classes - so i was just busy. i couldn't dedicate it all to wedding planning! so this sounds like a plug, but very seriously i wish I would have had someone to do a lot of this leg work for me, and help me work on all of the details i love. That, and I would have made it smaller. which just couldn't happen unless we eloped or were married in france. (:

Ohh I loveee Cannon Beach! Just thinking about it makes me miss home! Our ritual when we go is to immediately head to downtown and pick up a slice of pizza from Pizza A'Fetta and then I get a Raspberry White Mocha from Bella Espresso. I never drink sweet coffee drinks like that - but this one is a special treat reserved for Cannon! Then, we head down to the beach and start walking toward Haystack Rock. Be prepared to stop and take a million pictures :) The fish & chips at Bill's are super yummy for dinner, but it's a more casual brewery so might not be great for your anniversary?

. If's not too wet, a fire on the beach with smores and drinks is perfect for sunset :) Here are a couple posts from some trips down there...ENJOY and happy anniversary!
