Harry Potter. No hesitation. Any day. Yess, I love love LOVE Doctor Who, always will. But I don't feel like I NEED it. It hasn't really shaped who I am, I guess. Harry Potter though...WHERE TO EVEN BEGIN. The books got me reading. Hermione was everything I aspired to. The Trio were my friends when I didn't have any (sad but true.) I could go on, but it's getting cheesy. And of course that's before I even BEGIN to talk about what the fandom means to me. This September 1st, I was one of hundreds at King's Cross, and just the sight of everyone made me tear up. SO MUCH LOVE. Blargh, I'm kind of sleep-deprived right now so I don't even know what I'm saying but trust me, this list could go on and on and on. Basically, Harry Potter. Because it's real for us <3

Red? As in the colour? I dunno, really, it's more of an instinct thing than anything else. It's just my favourite colour =) Although I suppose it has something to do with how bright and loud it can be, but also muted, and there's the whole death/sex thing that Greeks and Shakespeares (yes, plural) love to go on about so much, so... read into that what you will haha!

I DID! Very much. Quite proud of the amount of guessing/theorising on my part turned out to be correct haha. In terms of drama, I felt the middle of the episode lagged a little and were a bit odd and unsatisfying - BUT Karen Gillan pretty much deserves an award for all the scenes she was in. SO HEARTBREAKING. Also, I love love loved River's first scene with Rory. Takes on a whoooole new level if you rewatch knowing what you know. Annd yeah. I'M HAPPY. And you?

Oh hey! Hi! How are you? No worries for not being around yesterday. Stuff happens. I'm doing great, actually. I was out babysitting tonight, for two kids who are JUST in the middle of their first Potter fever. So we watched Philosopher's Stone, then I read a chapter of Azkaban to the littlun, then discussed Snape with the older one for an hour before going home. Also, there was cake. THIS IS WHAT I GET PAYED TO DO. My week's been a little less awesome - I'm meant to be revising SO MUCH but I feel like I'm not doing enough. And when I do revise, I feel like I'm cheating by revising easy topics or making pointless flashcards just to give my brain a break.
So yeah. You did ask. TMI Tuesday has officially become a Wednesday thing now.

Didn't see this as formspring flagged the link :( Anyway, red is just my favourite colour RIGHT NOW. It really depends on the situation. This morning, I loved the clean-washed pastel blue 4am sky. Yesterday I fell in love with a green top. I guess, overall, it's the reason behind each choice that tells us more about the person than the actual colour.
