Actually, it's made of Sedja. (She's actually kinda maxed out metal-wise right now...)
She's not heavy, being a Silk Efreet, but she likes the look of golden metal because that's the color she's used to seeing in metal. -
Let's just dub it "Action/Adventure", but it'd probably closer to those games the WWF used to put out where you could play as an array of characters through a season.
Maybe with a little more structure to the game itself though, along with a "Doll Mode" where you could cause all sorts of non-canon shenanigans to happen (Like actually pairing Daisy and Jason together on a team and seeing what happens, etc.) -
I get enough complaints about the plot being all over the place without introducing too much in the way of epic spacecraft pilotry.
... which is a nice way of saying I'm not sure how to work those in yet. It depends on whether or not Gabriel's got a few lying around and whether or not I have room in the outline without making Volume 2 a lot larger than I intended it being. -
I'm just a girl in the world. That's all that you'll let me be...
Seriously, though? I'm Rachel. I draw comics, I go to school, and I've been following your work since Checkerboard Nightmare. Not so much now, but you'll have to forgive me, I've been doing a fair bit of work since... -
A hastily assembled and decorated tree, two dogs trying to share the same house, and yes, somehow there was turkey involved. (I was happy with the Chinese food, honestly.)

Yup. And I think White'll want to do more than just squish 'em...

Veled actually has a number of titles -- Messiah of the Endless, for instance. "First Wing" is just her title as head of the military (er, I mean "Ministry of Peace") on Celigo.
This is a tricky question because there's a difference between the organization provided by the Endless (and its de facto government) which most Celeste belong to, and the clan-by-clan organization of different families among the Celeste. As a result it depends on what falls into clan jurisdiction vs. Endless jurisdiction. -
There is ALWAYS room for improvement.
Where that improvement shows up -- in the proportions, perspective, coloring, storytelling, or speed -- is anyone's guess. -
Xan got about as good of a headshot as you could get. As in "non-survivable".
That being said, much like the scene earlier where Qin ended up shot by Spirit, stuff that goes off to the side like that is stuff that was supposed to happen, but didn't happen because Qin did something different. Ergo, White should've been shot dead by Xanatos, but wasn't because Qin intervened. -
... They're not. It's just the Talmi that're Jewish.
If you want to get super-technical about it, they're classified as part of the "Path", which is a bit of an envelope for all the Abrahamic religions akin to the same way you could call folks "Christian" today and still get into an argument over whose sect is better or which groups are really "Christian" vs. something else. (i.e. when Jason brings it up, he's being a bit of a pedantic asshole.)
To shed a little light on the other folks, Jason and Daisy are both SubGenius (okay, Daisy is Jewish by blood, but the SubGenius stuff stacks), White Noise is Athiest/Agnostic, Addy is still her native religion (Tahlaist), and a big heaping mess of folks on the station are Endless (like the Star Org), though there's a healthy minority of Pangean and Path, with the rest being certain homeworld-centric religions that don't spread as much.
The Talmi are a bit of a special case because they're the only ones following some other religion en masse that wasn't developed by their own species / homeworld. The Pangean Corporation considers it one of their biggest blunders not to get the Talmi under their auspices instead, and the Endless are just pissed off at everyone who isn't Endless anyway.
(OOC: If you have to ask, this may be a good time to consider the possibility that not everyone who writes your stories is a WASP...) -
I've taken several courses, but not since I graduated High School. Most of my studies since then have been from art books (to the point it's always a good, safe gift if you can't think of anything else), and all the deviantart tutorials I can get my hands on.
Most of my "reference" material now consists of said books / tutorials, although I have taken to taking reference photos (usually of my hands / arms) when it comes to some of the trickier poses I attempt. -
White didn't get shot... and if he did, it looks like it was more than just his ears that would've been shot off.
Are you sure you read that page correctly? I think you're remembering something that didn't happen... ;) -

This is a tough question to answer for a few reasons:
1) I don't like the idea of tailoring a concept for a demographic. It sacrifices creativity in favor of building to fit a stereotypical mold that never quite fits.
2) As a girl, I almost never fit in to the "intended demographic" of the stuff I actually read / watch / enjoy. As a result, I would find it awkward to make something and then try to declare it's for a certain demographic only to find out that I alienated someone who didn't fit that mold.
3) ... I didn't really design LR with a specific demographic in mind, which in hindsight is a bit of a mistake, if only because it causes me to choke when trying to talk to business-oriented people. It's something I need to fix, and I know that, but there's no easy solution.
Officially (as in "this is what I told the animation studio when pitching LR to 'em"), it's meant for the college-age demographic. Based on Quantcast's current estimates of folks who are already reading, it hits a little younger than that, but calling Last Res0rt "Young Adult" feels awkward. -
Life on Earth exists in a very narrow band of about 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Dealing with creatures who are comfortable outside of those margins would be very taxing all around. Fortunately, none of the folks we're having fun with in the comic are outside of those bounds by much.
Besides, those that do have issues at high temperatures have other, less base methods of handling high temperatures -- getting their fur trimmed, for instance. There's a great market for Anyr wool... -
Actually, humans are the odd folks out here -- humans are hairless thanks to a stage of aquatic evolution. (Consider just where all the other hairless mammals on our planet live and this makes sense....)
