ive had bad hosting experiences. how can i get over them? once someone scratched my leather sofa (by accident). another time chips and chocolate got all over the carpet. ppl kept stepping on it and it took forever for me to clean it up.

    I admit that I have a mental list of acquaintances who I am not likely to invite to a party in my house unless I'm moving furniture out of the way and expecting a mess. Only invite people who respect your home.
