a train is hurtling down a track towards 5 people. assuming that u can stop it by dropping a heavy weight in front of it and that there is a very fat man next to u, will u push him onto the track (killing him to save the other 5)? yes/no and why?
Well, I'd do to him what I do to my students all the time to get them to do their work i.e. "Hey fatty, would you like to consider stepping in front of the train for a moment? Just for a moment - and then you can come back. Really? Thanks. Thanks so much - I really appreciate it."
