There was news on the Ayn Rand campus! An anonymous benefactor donated a lot of money which has pushed all the timetables forward. While they didn't want to commit to any dates, it sounds like they will go through a development and beta testing of a complete e-learning system within a year or two. I am a bit nervous as a software developer to hear their approach (I prefer phased implementation). The idea would be to take people interested in but new to Objectivism as well as people who may even oppose Objectivism to have a place to learn. The ratio of teachers to students will be much higher then what can be achieved with OAC/OCON and other outreach efforts.

I've been to many interesting places. I'm still waiting for my trip to Africa, Australia or New Zealand. I've been to unusual places like Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar, and Kuwait. By far the most interesting place I've been was Okinawa, Japan. Did you know that is where mas where Karate was founded? That they live the longest out of any Japanese? That they have their own dialect? Next time I'm in that area though I will be hitting up Tokyo.

I could only make a CD that I would like. It would have London Horn Sound, old school Cartel (Q and A!), and some of the music I'm working on for Benfield Brass Band, which is mostly celtic music.
