I assure you, there will be numerous professors / TAs in your college career that will try to intimidate you, put you down for absolutely no reason, and try to belittle your intelligence and capability of working at your highest potential. What you need to do (especially if this is what you want) is be assertive.

Show them you want to learn. If you don't understand something, ask them as professionally as you can. Show up to study hours. Just so much as 2-3 scheduled office hours can show any professor that you actually give a shit, and also show that not only can you survive a class, but you don't deserve being talked down to. It's your education that you're paying for, so make it worth it.

Ignoring all health issues and actual life sustaining capability? It would definitely be Tapsilog on fried rice.
