If you had not included "the absolute most" at the end, I would have answered "everything". Truth be told, everything can inspire me, and sometimes epiphanies come to me in the most bizarre ways.
But since you're asking me what inspires me THE MOST, I'd have to say there are two things. The first, is ambiance. What I'm referring to specifically, is getting a distinct "feeling" out of scenic pictures or places. Here, let me show you three pictures that I really like:

http://i55.tinypic.com/10cjcp5.jpg
And also that of the industrial or derelict variety:

The second thing that really inspires me is modern architecture. Technically, modern architecture does go hand in hand with ambiance.

Those are just a few of my examples.
Both of these things evoke strong feelings inside me, and thus, inspiration is formed. -
Oh man, I know I already answered this question, but my tastes have shifted a bit during the past couple of months. Well Atelier Pierrot is still my absolute favorite brand, but I'm starting to develop a love for Black Peace Now, Alice and the Pirates, Innocent World, and Alice Auaa. I mean, it's not that I never liked the latter three brands, but rather, that I always felt them to be a bit on the plain side. Until this year.
I also discovered how cheap the BPN second-hand market is. I mean, I could buy a coat or a jacket for only 6,000 yen if I looked in the right places! Alice and the Pirates; they've released two of my favorite prints this year, Sleeping Beauty and Masquerade Theater. And besides, AatP is not really gaudy, yet at the same time, not plain either. Innocent World has also come out with a huge amount of stuff this year that I've fallen head over heels for. Examples would be their Antique Pansy print (which I've gotten my hands on), the Blanche JSK in the short mint version, and the (I think it's called) Annette JSK in mint, which is very reminiscent of Spring. And lastly, Alice Auaa has always been a brand I've liked, but only recently have I gotten a job-- Alice Auaa clothing is very OL (office lady) like, but with a dark and sometimes even futuristic touch to it.
OH. Almost forgot one important brand! Metamorphose, oh man. Do you know how much they've improved this year?! It's ridiculous, how cute some of their prints this year are. And like Black Peace Now, Meta's second-hand market is VERY affordable. 'Tis awesome indeed. I actually got my hands on their Perfume Bottle OP in white for about 11,000 yen. Yep, Meta's awesome.
So, to sum it up, in the order of my top favorites to the ones that's aren't as high up o the list: Atelier Pierrot, Metamorphose, Alice and the Pirates, Innocent World, Black Peace Now, and Alice Auaa. c: -
Of course. I just don't mention these things in public because I don't want to start unnecessary drama. You're going to have to ask me in person, and I'm going to have to have the kind of trust in you that involves me knowing you'd look out for me in a life and death situation. If not, I won't budge. I'm pretty sure it's obvious whom I can easily tell secrets to and whom I can't.

I'm currently not attending school. Right now, I'm working as a life insurance sales agent at New York Life.
Hey, if anybody's interested in purchasing family protection (i.e. life insurance), annuities, or opening an IRA account, feel free to contact me. I can help. ;) -
WHO IS THIS?! Sherri, is this you??? X'D
But seriously though, I'm really not as awesome as you think. I mean, I try to be a good friend and help out where I can. I think it's just in me to be a decent person and a loyal friend if it can be helped. I have a lot to say about those who don't exactly see eye-to-eye with me on this issue, but that's for another day... -
Who ARE YOU? XD
Wow, this is a bizarre question. Sorry for taking forever to answer your question by the way; Formspring takes forever to send a notification about receiving a new question.
Anyway, getting back to the subject at hand. I could never imagine myself with silver hair. White maybe, but silver? Naaaaah, not really, unless it was more of a whitish silver as opposed to a greyish silver. I guess I wouldn't like a greyish sheen with my yellow/Asian skin. :I
Of course, the eyebrows would have to match. Eyelashes and other body hair as well.
But yeah, you're a strange person. Who are you?! Will you tell me? CONFESS, DAMMIT! >:O -
It used to be being an Architect.
That's over now, along with my college/university career. I have the University at Buffalo to thank for that.
As for what I'd like to be now.
I would really like to be an Interior Designer or an Astrophysicist. Even though for the latter, my math skills are in the shitter. orz
I would like to have one of these two occupations in addition to being a Writer/Novelist.
Hm, being a Sociologist isn't that bad either. -
Yeah: h.Naoto and Baby, the Stars Shine Bright coming to NYC.
I would also love it if Tokyo Rebel started carrying Triple Fortune hats and bonnets, as well as the Alice and the Pirates line from Baby.
PLEASE, DEAR GOD, MAKE THESE THINGS HAPPEN! D: -
Are you asking for particular pieces or just articles of clothing in general?
If your questions pertains to both of the above, I'd say:
#1: Iron Gate Skirt in White from Moi-meme-Moite
#2: BtSSB Sleeping Beauty OP in Black (the new print, circa 2010)
#3: Visor Caps - i.e. along the lines of what the Nazi generals wore (once again, I don't agree with the Nazis and what they did, but they sure were stylish)
#4: Pants that fit seamlessly into combat boots; preferably black and/or olive colored.
#5: Military Coats and Jackets!
If I may add an extra #6:
Accessories and WIGS! Whatever, I know they're not necessarily "articles of clothing", but they are TOTALLY worth saving for. Accessories help spice up an outfit big time, and wigs-- well, let's just say I don't like my flat, stubborn Chinese hair.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure you all realize that all of the above are extremely costly lol. To me, all of these are worth saving up every penny for. -
Well, I believe in bad luck, so I suppose if I believe that, then I have to believe in its flipside.
I believe evil forces are tied to bad luck. I also believe that these demons or evil forces are out there to...well, this is only if you believe in the Christian faith (which I do), but I believe that they're out there to cause us to stumble in our faith. -
Well, so far it's on a temporary hiatus because our members are busy with university, but since it's winter break, I'm going to be going over to Aria's sometime later this week to work on designs.
We've definitely settled on using colors that you don't typically see in lolita, but we will do so in a way that will blow people away. I know we can do this-- it's just a matter of time restraints, etc.
If it becomes a success, of course I will let a bigger girl model for me, provided that you are a part of my close friends/LJ friends! ;) -
Is it a HOT guy with a nice face? Y'know, preferably a guy with a nice, porcelain doll visage? :O
I've thought of this before actually, lol. I actually wouldn't mind because I would like to experience what it feels like being a guy. Though I'd just like to be a shapeshifter and turn into a guy as well as change back whenever I felt like it.
Well, as long as it's a GOOD looking body.
And if it happened to me suddenly, I'd need to undergo a thorough examination. You know, to get the know the kinks. 89
Then I'd experiment with chatting up women. That's how I would roll. -
There are many places that I like to eat; it just depends on my mood on whichever particular day. Since I'm a nice person, I'm gonna list out each and every place in the city that I like, along with the pricing.
1) Two Boots - This pizza chain has multiple stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and I've got to hand it to them; they make some of the BEST pizza I've ever tasted, with some really nice varieties. I like their "Bayou Beast" pizza, which is topped with BBQ shrimp and crawfish! Each slice, I believe, is $3.25? Well, somewhere in the $3 to $4 range. Each slice is extremely filling, so it's worth every penny. I usually go to the one located within Grand Central Terminal, which is easily accessible.
2) Oyster Bar - This place was shown to me by a friend of mine. Admittedly, it's a little expensive for lunch (sandwiches range from $8 to $12), but it's pretty good, especially for a seafood addict like myself. They also have soups, so if that's what you prefer, you can order soups as well. It might be a little difficult to locate if you're going for the first time, but it's located within the Grand Central Terminal, on one side of the "celestial ceiling" room (sorry, don't know the proper name lol). I think only one side is directly accessible, which leads to a corridor, if you will. You'll see the entrance to the oyster bar, but you don't want to sit-in and dine because that's expensive. Instead, head towards the right of the entrance, and there should be a little kiosk-like window booth opened (if not, you're probably there at an odd time). THAT'S where you place your order-- there's a menu directly overhead inside said window.
3) Kenka - Okay, technically this isn't a place for lunch, as it opens at 6 PM every afternoon, but it's DELISH. Located directly underneath Search & Destroy, the restaurant has no English words written on its banner; however, you should be able to recognize it from its motion activated glass doors. The main courses range from $8 to $12, but it is worth EVERY PENNY. Seriously, you will not leave this place feeling like you still have more room in your stomach. It will fill you up. I suggest Kenka virgins order the "omurice", which is basically fried rice topped with an mayonnaise and ketchup drenched omelet with chicken pieces inside. Trust me, IT'S SOOOO GOOD. EVERY LITTLE BITE OF IT IS LIKE A MOMENT IN HEAVEN! Yeah, it's that good. Also, I want to add that some waiters/waitresses might serve you alcohol even if you're underage; they don't tend to ask for ID. I know this because I once ordered aloe calpico and the waitress that was serving me mixed it with some alcoholic drink. XD Anyways, TRY THIS PLACE! You will love it!
4) Seoul Garden - Excellent Korean food. They also serve you free tiny "dishes", like kimchi, bean sprout, this seafood like jelly thing, etc. etc. Even their cheaper dishes fill you up. I'd say it's around $8 to $12 for a main course. Located near Herald Square. You need to take an elevator to get to the restaurant, as it's located on the 2nd floor of the building that it's in. Address: 34 W. 32nd St., 2nd fl, New York, NY 10001
5) Auntie Anne's - I LOVE THEIR CINNAMON SUGAR PRETZELS, AHHH~! So good. You're gonna have to look up the locations for this, because I don't know any within the city. I believe there are two within the Times Square vicinity.
/////////////////////IN QUEENS/////////////////////
1) Paris Baguette - Best cakes I've ever tasted. Sometimes they also have $12 macaron box sets.
2) Kyochon Chicken - OMG, this place serves THE BEST. FRIED CHICKEN. IN THE ENTIRE WORLD! Be aware that it's quite pricey; one chicken piece is about $1 or so. If you're going to order from here, bring lots of money because it is expensive. There are two locations in Queens and one in Manhattan. Google up the locations, because I'm too lazy to look them up for you.
3) Quiznos - I know, this is a multiple location sandwich chain, but I order from the one in Bayside. Be sure to order the "Baja Chicken". Too delicious man, too delicious.
Well, if I think up of more restaurants, I'll list them later. And you're welcome. -
You guys keep asking me difficult questions lol.
My favorite clothing brand in general? Well, I like this brand called Surplus Raw and this other brand by the name of G-Star Raw. They just remind me of the "rugged" and/or motorcycle look that I love.
Hmm, I also like h.Naoto because the clothes are versatile. Besides that, my favorite cutsew is from h.Naoto's SEVEN line. I also like Atelier Pierrot, just because.
As for my favorite clothing article, I'm going to say it's a divide between the shoes and the jackets. A good jacket always makes a statement about you, as do your shoes.
If you count headwear though, then I'd go with that as my favorite. XD -
That depends, will you apologize for doing so?
No?
Well if that's the case, then I guess I'll have to dump a drum case full of sulfuric acid on you before I impale you through your head with a metal pole. After that, I will push your lifeless body through a meat grinder to get rid of the evidence.
Capital punishment works pretty well sometimes, eh? -
DAMN, you just had to pose a difficult question, didn't you?
This is a tough one for me. See, if you had asked this a year or so ago, I'd have said H&M hands down. It's only been recently that Forever 21 has improved, and dramatically so. F21 used to carry really tacky and cheap garments, but recently they've been doing the whole retro movement, and I know I love retro! The quality of F21 has also improved from years past.
H&M, on the other hand, has gone down in terms of quality. They used to be really good several years ago, then dropped somewhat in terms of quality. Only recently have they made a true comeback, what with last summer's avant garde space-age collection.
Also, the thing about Forever 21 I like is that they have a website where you can look up the stuff they have in-stores. H&M does not, which annoys me quite a bit.
So to answer your question: I really don't know. Both are good in their own ways. It would be much easier for me to judge if you asked based on their current collection, as that would eliminate all the factors I'd have to consider, lol.
