I use a Nikon D80... and why? When I was shopping around for a digital SLR camera I messed around with a bunch of cameras (Nikon, Canon, Sony, etc...). Doing that in addition with asking other people about cameras I found that I liked Nikon camera more. In terms of interface, quality, and other personal preferences. I got the D80 over the D60/D40 (this was about two years ago) because I liked the external screen and the better control over manual controls. The D90 was just released around that time and was out of my price range and I wasn't very much into video at that time.

Hey! I shoot both. I love film, but right now I shoot mostly digital because it's less expensive than shooting in film.
