Many photographers don't sell digital files because it gives up a degree of control. When clients have the ability to print their own pictures they could go to bad quality printers, or even edit them further themselves - if this doesn't look great and doesn't show off the photos to their best then it reflects badly on the photographer. I can understand that, but I do sell digital files and I include a certain number in all my collections too.

Oh my goodness, I'd have to say often with difficulty - isn't it hard for any Mum who works???.... it's tough, especially living far away from any family who might help out (and who would love to help out). I have a wonderful husdand who comes home from his own 6 day a week job and helps with my accounting, backing up and technical issues - I would not do it without that... and I slog my guts out every day during that 2 hours my youngest sleeps (I dread the day she gives her lunchtime naps up!!)
Luckily I have fantastic clients who are mostly Mummies themselves and understand if something child related comes up and delays something by a day or two. -
I use a couple of different suppliers and all are based in the USA. All work only with professional photographers and one of them picks and chooses it's photographers and will only take you on as a Photographer if it feels your work is compatible with their products - yeah, maybe I'm a snob, but I LOVE that exclusivity!! And I love that I'm able to sell totally gorgeous products that people can't get just anywhere

There's definitely a place for indoor photos - eg newborns and often maternity shoots - but given the choice I'd shoot outdoors every day!!

I shoot super early in the morning or late before sunset. It's a struggle here because the sun rises and falls quickly so shoots can often be a race against time. Heat wise obviously the cool winter months are best, but I'm a hot person so I don't mind the summers here so much.

oh gosh - too hard!!! I love hanging out with kids and how they are either shy of you or want to perform for you and working through that to get their true personalities to shine.
Newborns are of course totally adorable - and help to keep any clucky feelings at bay!!!
And adults, well they're wonderful in a different way - they listen to you - do want you want and yet have their own opinions so it becomes much more of a collaboration between artist and subject and I love that approach. -
I constantly move my focus points around so they're right on the eyes of the main subject. And I constantly assess the light to make sure that my subjects are facing the right way to maximise the available light

The people without a doubt. I've met people from all over the world here and been welcomed into their homes and families and their lives - it's wonderful.

Probably my 24-70 2.8 - which has come as a complete surprise to me cos I really didn't expect to love it as much as I do... I do love my 50 1.4 but it takes a backseat these days...
-
Difficult because I LOVE to ski, but I also hate being cold... and much as I love hot countries - there is such a thing as too hot (yup, I've spent the last 2 summers in Abu Dhabi and yes, it's too hot!!)

beans on toast - that's what my kids just got!
