thanks! it's slideshowpro, i think. :)

I get no feedback, really. Which means it's working well, haha. I like smugmug.
-
Hey Chad! I host my website with Hostmonster, and yes it's prophoto3. My shopping cart site (smugmug) is totally separate and is hosted with smugmug.

Noi's hands down. Thai Boat was good, but Noi's is freaking amazing. You and Anna should go there. Or you and I.

Really, really good. I never have focus complaints, pretty much. They work like they should.
Rent them and try it. Switching systems is a huge commitment, so try before you buy. -

there ya go! it's super simple, but works really well for me. simplicity is the key to any good system IMO. -
Too early to tell, really. Things seem about the same so far.
-
Yep - still working great for me. I have a simple template that I use that seems to do the trick.
-
I do! I could give you access to a few galleries if you'll tell me who you are, haha. I do shoot RAW, and yes all RAW files are a little soft out of the camera and need sharpening. Use my website's contact form or email me if you'd like and I'll send you a few galleries. :)

Not a workshop. In my experience you can learn 99% of what workshops teach by exploration online and experimentation. They aren't often worth the ROI, especially at the ridiculous premium that most people charge.
I'd say branding. -
Just do a batch resize in Photoshop. Create an action that resizes to 8" tall at 300dpi, and run it on all of your spreads. Re-saving a JPG once or twice isn't a big deal if it's at a high quality.
-
I don't think so - it all looks the same through the viewfinder.
-
joey, we need to hang out so i can answer this question in person.

Everyone I shoot gets the digital negatives. I dunno, if I were a client I would want the digital files always, so that's what I do. They are edited, yes. Every one is edited to the extent that is on my website. Clients order from cart.kenkienow.com which goes through Bayphoto, who I love. More complicated orders are done through me, but the vast majority of my prints are ordered through cart.kenkienow.com.

I shot my first wedding in December of 2007, and got into weddings because I thought I might like it, ha. I had a few friends who were wedding photographers and thought it seemed like something I'd love doing.
