MOST RANDOM FORMSPRING QUESTION EVER! Well, once I was going to live in Manila but then I ended up going to British Columbia for the term instead. So I don't really have anything to say. I'm sure the Filipino people are lovely :)

lol! It's a problem for me- I'm very verbose. Plus, I'm a speed reader so I forget that it takes other people longer than me to read something! Jeff's always previewing my writing and telling me to shorten things :) Whoops! (how was this?)

Hmmm. There are a lot of facets to blogging for me. At this point I enjoy the combination of the experience of writing for an audience and the connection it gives me with other people.
There are many moments where it is therapeutic for me as well. It actually started out that way, when I was fresh out of a relationship.
It's a little bit of all of the above I think. But if I'm being very honest, I love writing. I've dreamed of being a writer for a very long time. So it's very edifying to write for an audience, especially one as great as mine. I've been blessed with awesome readers and the benefit of that is that I've been able to connect with them in the times that I do write about tough things, like infertility, and that blesses me immensely.
I know I'm lucky to have people that read my blog and that challenges me to try and be a better writer. I love everything about the blogging community. I'd miss it if I weren't doing it. -

I "knew" the first time when I was 17 and dreamed about marrying him, but I really absolutely knew about 3 days before he asked me to marry him. I had been so guarded after my previous heartbreak and we didn't tell each other that we loved one another when we dated. I knew his presence in my life was going to change me greatly.
When a girlfriend told me he WASN'T proposing (to throw me off) I was just overcome at how sad I was, not because I wanted to be engaged but because I loved him, I admired him so much as a man and wanted to spend my life with him. I was just certain then that he was the only man I wanted. So I tried to break up with him, lol, because I was so deeply in love with him that I was afraid of being with him anymore without us moving on to a deeper level of commitment, he had my heart at that point.
He says he knew WAY earlier than me. The first night he saw me again after a few years of not talking he says he knew something was going to happen. Once he told me that he'd always needed me, he just didn't know it :)
After we got engaged on New Year's Eve he gave me a song he'd written about marring me and it was dated September. And I was all "YOU KNEW BACK IN SEPTEMBER?!!" lol :) -

Other things that do not come easy? Self esteem, making myself do housework, cooking, putting Jeff's needs before my own, remembering to return phone calls and putting my hair in a ponytail (it's really thick and heavy and always falls out) -
I've met very few people with citrus allergies! Terrible, isn't it?
I'm deathly allergic to penicillin and several medications related to it- so not fun when I'm sick.
But that's it! I actually never knew about the citrus allergy til I was older- my mother is allergic so we just never had it in our house and I was such a picky eater that I didn't try anything citrus until high school. Which is when I had some orange juice at a friends house and swelled up like a balloon. -
He does read mine, about once a week he'll catch up on all my recent posts and chat with me about them over dinner. Or he'll randomly bring up something that I wrote about when we're getting ready to go to sleep. I'll be just about asleep and he'll be all "I read your blog today and..." lol!
He doesn't have his own, I've been trying to get him to start one but like I said, he's kinda shy. I wish he would though, because he's a great writer. -
I've heard of it. I used to listen to his radio program all the time when we lived in TN b/c his office was in our town and he was always on air it seemed like!
We don't do the Financial Peace University, though I have heard good things about it. We do work hard to be as debt free as possible though. With the economy being so rough we both took paycuts this year so we had to tighten up a lot and we were already pretty tight so I'm not sure where else we COULD save! So I'm just not sure I want to spend the money on his course! Unless he has some great secrets for health insurance, we have to pay for our own and that is the worst. -

shameful confession: I took some photos of myself and lucy in the snow and never posted them because I didn't like the way I looked in them.
I do get points for taking photos in which I was wearing no makeup, but then I lose them all for being too vain to put them on the internet.
I keep trying to get a video of her doing her "feed me" dance but whenever I pull out the camera she stops! -
What? You don't want me to talk about the bedroom on here? hee hee. I'm not very romantic either. I'm a girl so I enjoy that stuff when it happens but I don't miss it. If I ever do, I just tell him "Hey I'd like to do something romantic."
My love languages are touch and gifts- I'm always buying him little things to surprise him. He is not at all touchy-feely so he has to work at fulfilling that for me. But he is very good at bringing me home little presents :)
His love languages are acts of service and quality time. He's always doing housework for me and I appreciate that like crazy when I'm working, especially because he works so hard. It's tough for me, I'm not very good at the acts of service for him, I have to work at it but I'm better at the quality time.
As far as surprises, we just do little things b/c we are on a tight budget. Like today was cadbury eggs. He's written me songs (that's romantic actually)and this week I secretly got him a box of baseball cards he wanted.
And honestly, the most romantic things to me are small- like a week ago I was afraid to drive my car b/c it was acting up and he took me outside and checked all my fluids and talked to me about where I could pull over if something happened to ease my fears. Most people would be annoyed with my OCD but he's really gentle and patient with me. And then sometimes he's all PICK UP YOUR FREAKIN CLOTHES OFF THE FLOOR WOMAN YOU ARE DRIVING ME CRAZY! ;) -
I think he's EVEN MORE AWESOME. Obviously he has issues that irritate me because he's human but as well all know, I have more issues than sports illustrated so...
In all honesty I sometimes feel badly that I get know him so intimately and other people don't because I think he is the most amazing man I've ever met.
He's really quiet and shy, especially around other people but he's not like that with me and so I think he's hilarious and witty but few people get to see that side of him. And I think a common internet misconception of him because of how I write is that he's really romantic, but he isn't at all. He loves deeply and he takes great care of me but as far as dates or flowers and stuff he's totally not that kind of guy. He did surprise me with a box of junior mints the other day though :)
And we have our moments where it's tough but I don't write about them on internet because I believe love keeps no record of wrongs and the internet had a really long memory :)
But pretty much, yeah. He's awesome. -

I've never heard that! I had to google her. I don't think I look like her though, I think it's deceiving because my MIRACLE WORKER makeup artist + photographer made me look good in my wedding photos and I don't look like that in real life :)
I HAVE been hearing a lot lately that I look like Didi Benami from American Idol. I hope she wins and gets famous so people mistake me for her and give me free stuff. -
Fruit salad- but the kind my grandmother makes: bananas, marachino cherries, pineapple and whipped salad dressing. And yes, I am allergic to it. But pineapple just makes me break out in hives, it doesn't close my throat up like oranges, so I eat it anyways about twice a year. And yes, it's completely worth the hives. It's THAT good.

As of today I do not but in two weeks I will be offering pre-made and custom designs on a limited basis at Little Light Studio. It's pretty time consuming but I really love it, sadly the day job means I don't have as much time to devote to it as I'd like. But I'm flattered you asked and since it seems to be something people want to see at LLS, we're going to make it happen!
