Basically looking for the least processed foods. Probably more often than not that's going to be the salad bar. But also, you could request for them to make steamed veggies in the back instead of the buttered or cheesy ones from the pan :)

Shoot me an email, I can get you on my readers list if you'd like. Katypbrooks@gmail.com

Absolutely. Well it depends on what's important to you. Dairy free is important to me, but again whey is probably the quickest responding form of protein post workout. Look for the lowest sugar count and be careful of additives. Look for Isolate if you're going for whey (versus concentrate) and pea protein or spirulina is good for a vegan option.

Yes, absolutely. Especially if you're coming from a cardio/over trained place, you definitely need the intensity of heavier weights to shock your muscles and body. Good luck!

I don't really. Unless you're coming off a crazy sugar laden phase, clean eating will push you in the direction you need to go.

I didn't end up buying, I actually just did a fitting room review.

Oh yes it will definitely get easier! Just give your self time. Pushing too much will tax your adrenal glands. As long as you're heart rate is in the right zone, that's what matters!

I would consider it a post workout "meal" yes, and then eat your next meal about an hour after that. I have no idea about my grams per day but per meal I try to keep it under 8-10g.

Thank you! I used Jessica from creative index blog. She is so great!

My thoughts are you could be wearing the wrong type of shoe for your foot and stride! I would get fitted for a different shoe that you're currently using. Also are you heel striking? Consistent foam rolling can really help (especially before a run).
