Empanadas. Particularly with shredded beef inside. Yum!

This is a hard one. The obvious answer is Harry Potter, but honestly the series I've read over and over again and again is Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series. They're Regency romance. I have to go with that.

Sirius Black. Ha ha. Um, literary? So no romance novel character? Oh well. There's a character in one of Julia Quinn's Regency romance novels, Colin Bridgerton. I'd marry him in a heartbeat.

I like having it fairly dark. It doesn't have to be pitch black, so a little shimmering moonlight is just fine, but I do need the lights off. And there needs to be some kind of steady noise. Example: I have a wall clock that ticks quietly. I like that. Oh, and my cat should not be climbing on my face.

I think the spam and trolls drive me crazy, though it's better now on newer sites than it ever was on something like myspace.

I wrote a short story as a final paper for a James Joyce class I was in that was inspired by Ulysses. I love the feel and pacing and prose of it. It's called "Morning."

I told Clay Aiken I didn't like his second album. To his face.

My absolute favorite book is The House of Mirth by early 20th century writer Edith Wharton. That's the answer I give as a "classic" favorite. But if I'm going with current favorite, I usually say The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton.

I don't think I could read it quickly enough! I mean, my HP release record for the colossal OotP is about 8 hours... let's just say I sincerely doubt I'd put it down.

Is this really a question? It's like comparing apples and oranges. They are so completely different; it's impossible to compare. I love them both. Am I going to get shunned for saying so?

I think being the President of the US has got to be one of the, if not THE most difficult jobs in the world and in history. Would I want the job? Probably not -- I can't stand the thought of people hating me for my opinions or criticizing every move I make or anything. To be under that sort of scrutiny while trying to run such a diverse and powerful country? No, thank you. But I applaud all those who do the job.

One scar of note is a small pinprick of a scar on the inside of my left wrist. I got it from a particularly horrible hornet sting at summer camp.

I don't particularly enjoy cleaning out the cat's litter box. It's something I have to do, of course, especially considering it's in my bedroom, but I hate it. I let it get pretty unbearable before I do it.
-
Barnes & Noble. Not that I need any more books, but, really, where else would I shop? I can get lots of DVDs and books and chai tea frapps with $1,000.
-
I'd like to see one of Shakespeare's plays, as it is originally performed at the Globe Theater in London. I don't really care which play, but I'd like it to be a first or very early performance.
