Tough one! I know I said to ask me anything, but this is mean. Can it wait until we have kids?
-
Nothing- it's awesome.
But I'm a bit of a root for the underdog kinda gal, and I'd prefer the scenic, difficult, not-the-big-brand option to the race that everyone does. You'll note I've suffered through two horrid Rotovegas races rather than actually going sub 6 at the Mount!
The other reason is that I would love to combine triathlon with adventure- with that much money involved, I figure why not go the whole hog, travel as well, and get a holiday.
Of course, resources in the future may not permit a mission over to Canada (...or Norway....) for a silly race, but for now, a girl can dream... -
Definitely an option- Canada's high on our list of places to go.
-
I've got a few other things to do before I go for the full iron distance- but one day, that's for sure.
-
Since I'm not planning to die for a very long time, something pureed, I imagine!
Probably spaghetti bolognese with garlic bread, plenty of parmesan and something chocolatey. -
Ha! Not bloody likely. If I ever do an iron distance race, it'll be Wanaka or something overseas.
