Sailor Moon.

All the result of real cool wind sails.
-
I'd rather hang out with your mother.
-
A garbage bag. If I have to be forced into a dress, I'd rather it look so horrifying that it distracts away from the fact that I, Katface, am in a dress.
-
Anybody who didn't cry during the episode of where Teru leaves hoshigumi is a soulless monster.
-
YES It's embarrassing. Some movies I have cried to include The Lion King, Gladiator, The Others (wtf?), probably some of the sailor moon movies, Titanic and etc.
I'm actually a big baby. -
To be completely honest, I don't pay much attention to musumeyaku. I watch Takarazuka because it's not every day you see a woman in media running around looking like a man, and otokoyaku are so special and I just devote all my attention towards them.
It makes me feel bad. I do like musumeyaku. It wouldn't be Takarazuka without them. I adore Ayano Kanami, obviously. O-Hana-sama is outstanding, Shirosaki Ai stood out to me, Yumesaki Nene is absolutely adorable and I can't get enough of her innocent little face. But I don't have a favourite, I like them all equally. I hope this isn't a really shitty answer. -
Well it started out a million years ago when I was a huge fan of Haruka and Michiru from Sailor Moon. I'd read that Naoko-sensei had Takarazuka Revue to influence her in making those two characters, but for the longest time I never thought anything of it. (And which is good because I was entirely too young to sustain the cost of being a Takarazuka fan.)
Fast forward to a little over a year ago. I got into the Sailor Moon musicals and was enjoying how cracky they were and their women cross dressing as men (I'm looking at you, Hikari Ono). I always liked women dressing as men and in fact SO MUCH I even do it myself, nbd.
Then I also found out that some Seramyu actresses also used to be in Zuka. SO I TOOK THE PLUNGE. First show I saw was Elisabeth (isn't everybody's?) and then it GREW AND GREW AND HAS NEVER STOPPED.
Now it's only a year later and I'm hopelessly in love with all of Takarazuka and can't ever go back. Life before Zuka? IT WAS A DARK, DARK TIME. -
YES. This sounds like some bizarro world where Asako is still in Zuka, BUT I CAN STILL DREAM. I'd be the happiest girliest girl to ever be by Asako's side. :D
Katface’s Bio
I like Takarazuka Revue.
