Thank you! I'm pretty sure he does. :)

Jack Layton dressed in only silk stockings.
Don't ask me creepy questions. -
I don't know if I could handle New York... Toronto scares me enough and that's just Canadian New York! I feel like I'd get lost. I have aspirations of places to live, but they mostly consist of New England (ghosts! Edward Gorey! Boston!) and New Orleans (ghosts! Dixieland jazz! Mardi Gras!).

Thanks! :)
Aftertheschism is after the schism, which is a reference to A Series of Unfortunate Events (my favourite book series - yes, I do read adult books as well BUT). Basically it alludes to the secret society within the book, VFD, which existed as a whole united of people working toward a cause until after the Schism, which divided the society between good and evil. People starting fires and people putting them out.
I guess I just think of after the schism as being when all the interesting things happened. -
I don't know if it'll be a career for me, but it sure is helping me with this drawing/comic thing. The connections! The support! It's so great!
I don't have anybody supporting me financially, but I live a comfortably modest little life. I work full time, I have a decent apartment, I get to eat. I'm surrounded by sweet, nerdy people. I'm happy.
Aaaaaand thank you! I love these messages but I'm sure they must be a bit annoying to see on the dashboard, so I'm answering them sporadically in between visual posts. :) -
I gotta disagree! He's got his own thing going on, and he's just as handsome as the day is long.

I love it. It can be overwhelming; I don't read a lot of 'cape' comics outside of the Batman family, and I catch flack now and then. There are a lot of weirdoes and uncomfortable conversations, but the pluses outweigh the minuses by far. The artists and writers I've gotten to meet through the store (Darwyn Cooke! Kate Beaton! Faith Hicks! Mike Holmes! Steve McNiven! Raina Telgemeier!) and the regular customers are so great! I forget that it's basically a minimum wage job because I get so much out of it. I wear what I want, play good music, there's a lot of fun, and my boss/coworkers really encourage my art. I think I've learned more in the 8 months I've worked there than in two years of art school, haha.

I don't know who you are! Haha!

No idea! It would have to be something related to whatever the series was about. I have a hard time sticking to a theme.

Ha! Thank you! That's really exciting and nice to hear. My boss has been pushing me to do sequential strips and it's scary, but I'm happy with how it turned out. There will be more!

Thanks! No, we split up way back in September. I'm currently a little more than 3 months into a relationship with a pretty wonderful guy.

I work at a pin-up dress shop and a comic book store. Occasionally I do makeup or photo work. Yeah, I love it to bits!
-
I do, but I keep it under a pseudonym and have privacy settings up the wazoo.

It was pretty damn creepy, but you weren't the only reason.

I'm not sure how any aspect of this is supposed to make me feel anything less than terrified.

It sure is. My most recent! I got it in Boston when I went to meet AFP. She licked it and liked it, haha.

Ohh yes! That's awesome! I read a post about 5 pages back on yours, a long bit of text that I very much liked. You're awesome!
