No. Allow the idiots to spew their bullshit. It's up to us to recognize that those people are idiots and should not be taken seriously.

I think it's ok if they state that they think gay people are 'icky' (that's their right to prejudice, after all), but if they actively oppose gay marriage, I don't think I could stand their presence for too long.

"You don't believe in God?"
"I did. Then I grew my curly hairs."
There might be a Deist god, but I've yet to see any solid evidence to suggest its existence. On the other hand, we can safely place the Judeo-Christian and Muslim god in the same category as unicorns, goblins, and elves. I mean, it's widely known that according to the Koran, eating pork is a sin. I find it hard to believe that a being who created the universe cares about you put into your digestive tract.
I guess the biggest reason for my disbelief is that reality continually contradicts the values and attributes that God supposedly represents. Love for all his creations? Homosexuals will burn in hell forever. Thou shalt not kill? God blew up Sodom and Gomorrah on the grounds that everyone in those cities were sexually sinful (even the little teeny toddlers). -

I feel the withdrawal symptoms begin to kick in after a day or so without the Interwebz. So, yes.

Ehhhhh... I am vehemently against the notion of having a theocracy, but if I HAD to pick a religion I would choose Buddhism (treading a fine line there as well, it could be argued that it is simply a life philosophy). Unlike Christianity and Islam, I don't recall anyone being beheaded or burned at a stake simply for having a different opinion about spirituality.

There's a quote from Marilyn Manson that is relevant to this, but I can't remember it off the top of my head. Sorry if I butcher it.
"I wouldn't say a single word to them. I would listen to what they have to say because that is what no one ever does." -
