I'm actually flying to San Francisco in a few days. I'd like to visit Vancouver soon as well as Johannesburg. I'd always enjoy returning to Oxfordshire, England.
-
The bad guys I fight are those persons and institutions that dumb-down our kids and kill their dreams, thus redirecting their lives. I save lives, by saving dreams.
I get people to where they need to go - their dreams. -
Procrastination is usually a result of self-motivation, which external forces can't really control or shape. Best thing to do is ask them what they really want so perhaps their goals will align better with their desires.

I actually don't get a lot of opportunities to practice my Chinese and am always losing it almost entirely.
The last time I used Chinese words or phrases was when I was interacting with other Tzu Chi (the Buddhist foundation I belong to) members.
Growing up Buddhist and having had a strong Asian influence in my life, I definitely still feel the "small Asian kid" in me when I'm in an environment like Tzu Chi.
It's a good, nostalgic feeling. -
I'd tell this person that Life out to be lived with a capital "L".
We make decisions that have ideal or regrettable outcomes, life doesn't come with a blueprint, but what life does offer us is the opportunity to get better at being ourselves.
Ten years ago, you were different, most likely not as wise as you are now, but it also means you've gotten better at seeing the reality through the illusion, and you will probably make more mistakes, but that shouldn't stop you from creating the space in your life to develop new opportunities for personal transformation, for adventure, for love, for knowledge, and for living a life without regrets because the true regrets of our lives comes from not taking the risk, not making the leap, and wondering if the chance we could have taken was the right time in our life for a miracle.
My advice...every second, minute, and day of our lives is all the space we need for miracles to happen.

My favorite dances are swing, argentine tango, and latin (salsa, merengue).
It has been a while since I've had classes in each of those dances, but in 2010 I will be returning to dancing much more regularly. -
My medallion is a manadala from Mexico. It represents time and I never take it off unless on special ocassions.
Those fortunate to have worn it would describe an "energy" that is immediately felt whenever placed on.
Yes, I usually wear it under my shirt and tie whenever I am wearing a suit. -
Yes I have been published. My story is mentioned in the book "I will Find a Way or Make One", and my name is mentioned as a contributor to "The Strategy Pathfinder". My poems have been published in two Youthspeaks journal and my articles have been published by the Baruch College newspaper.
I worked on a children's book while studying and living in Italy but never completed. Eventually I'd like to published several books, mostly children's literature. -
Yes, I have lived alone often. I don't particularly like it, but it might be the next best thing for me.
Growing up in a group home, you become used to seeing hundreds of kids with hundreds of personalities and stories - every year. There was no privacy, everything was transparent, and the best thing you could ever have was a good friend you could trust.
It has shaped who I am and to this day, I believe in having a communal home and having an open door to people.
Also, I'm an extreme extrovert so I enjoy the feeling of positive quality human interaction. -
I became familiar with astrology, Eastern and Western, through my early Buddhist studies at around 9 and 10. I took two courses in astrology and one in numerology (that wasn't fun).
-
It actually doesn't bother me. I may close some of the gaps eventually but my front gap, I'm not sure about.
Malcolm X was told to close his gap, and one of his most memorable features was his smile. I don't it has affected the way women are attracted to me. If anything, there are women who especially love the gap. -
I have consumed alcohol before, but not socially. I worked for a couple of years for the alcohol industry and so I was exposed to wine and spirits.
I have never ingested beer. I tasted and spitted out beer while at Oxford University in England because my academic adviser felt I was trying hard enough to socialize with my peers, mostly other Georgetown students. She had the final say on grades.
It was gross though the beer contained honey ingredients marketed towards women.
I have never smoked anything, cigarettes, weed, or any narcotic. I have never done drugs or used a hallucinogen. I like to stay alert and aware. I consider myself the "designated thinker" under highly social conditions as I'm very good with emergencies and responding to a crisis. It might have to do with my Moon being in Taurus. -
I was born allergic to meat. I displayed symptoms ranging from ear infections to rashes to fevers as a result of any and all consumption to meat. So I can't eat any seafood. I'm especially sensitive to shrimp. I can't even eat simulated shrimp-flavored soy or tofu products.
I can eat eggs, but in moderation. My blood pressure raises sharply when I consume eat too much eggs. For example, I enjoy Billie's Black's (a soul food restaurant in Harlem) macaroni and cheese. I have it every week on a Thursday, but because of that, I avoid dairy consumption throughout the week.
I don't drink milk or milk products. My system can not handle it. -
I answered this question just two minutes ago: "My wife, Brenda, was killed. She was shot in the chest with a Dum-dum or "expanding bullet". She died at St. Mary's Hospital in Brooklyn. I was within a couple of feet from her when it happened. Her death was instant. She was two months pregnant."
-
I never learned to drive. I have a non-driver's id. I hope to learn very soon how to drive. It's typical for a New Yorker not to know how to drive or have never owned a vehicle.

To manipulate the memories and powers of others. I'd be "The Haitian".
