can't wait to hear your sound!!! can you tell us what will it feels like?

It feels like galaxies being born.

    3. (ra)chel raven

You're a movie star. Your celebrity name is the month you were born in + your middle name.

      November Allison.
      I quite like it.

    4. VESPERTINE

      Do you like pancake? :D

Nobody likes pancake. That's why they're served in stacks. Two is the bare minimum. Anything quantity low enough to qualify as "pancake" rather than "pancakes" should be considered a violation of basic civil liberties.

    5. VESPERTINE

Do you like Kerli? As in "like like" :3

What's that face at the end? Is that balls under a set of eyes?

    6. VESPERTINE

Do you sleep in pajamas or in the nude?

      I sleep in the bed.

    7. VESPERTINE

Would you date a fan? :P

I'm not expressly opposed to the idea. Some of those three speed versions with automatically swiveling heads are wonderful, and the retro-futuristic desk models are rather streamlined and, dare I say it, sexy. I don't know how long a fan could keep my interest however, and the notion of copulation with a triptych of blades spinning at upwards of 5000 rpm sounds jarring to say the least.

    8. VESPERTINE

If you could go on a road trip with any person, dead or alive, who would it be and where would you go?

Obviously, if presented the option, I'd prefer to go on a road trip with a person who is alive. I don't even think it matters who it is and where I would go if my options are "dead person or alive person." I can't even fathom the circumstances surrounding the act of taking a dead person with me on a road trip.

hi Kerli, what's your religion? are you a religious person?

Integrity, Love and Unity is my religion. Although I believe in many things, I don't think I could ever fully embrace a religion. It's all too rigid for me. I guess Buddhism and Paganism are the closest of what I could embrace. Actually... I guess kinda embrace bits and pieces from everything..as long as it comes from a place of love..cause so much of it comes from fear.

If you had a crystal ball that could tell you the truth about any one thing you wished to know about yourself, life, the future, or anything else, what would you want to know?

I wouldn't wanna know anything. I used to be really fascinated with divination and I still do oracle cards and stuff like that but If I would find a book with my life written in it, I wouldn't open it. I really believe we are the creators of this reality and I wanna live as if I was creating every day and nothing was destined.

    11. kerli

Have you found your life mission?

I think so. I think I'm doing what I'm supposed to do. If it didn't feel right, I'd find something else.

    12. kerli

Would you have plastic surgery done on your body?

As of now, no. But who knows, maybe there's some epic stuff we can do in 30 years. I'll be 50 then and I might think differently.

    13. kerli

Are you more of a rebellious or conservative type?

I'm always the opposite of what's going on. When I go to a really nice restaurant, all I wanna do is curse. And when I hang out with someone promiscuous, I get super proper. I just went out with my friends to a bar where everyone was wearing black and I felt awful wearing black too. Next time I go there I'm gonna wear all white.

    14. VESPERTINE

I have heard from many people that you are an atheist and that you are against religion. Is this true? What do you believe in?

I believe that at the core of all things, on both a macro and micro level, there exists an intangible harmony binding all matter in the universe. I don't feel that it's a tremendous stretch to believe such a thing because at the smallest subatomic level, we are nothing but small packets of energy. Energy is neither created nor destroyed--it merely changes states--and thus, the same is true of existence within this universe. Everything is made up of the same intangible force as all other things. I call this "beauty." It's the only thing in which I believe. I don't feel the need to identify with a god nor do I believe that any entity possesses the capability to be greater or lesser than I am--we are all bags of carbon with the same beautiful start dust passing through our bodies--trying to hold on to as much beauty as we can, and only for a little while.

And yes, I am against religion. It is my genuine opinion that religion is the single greatest threat to our progress as a species, and that our religious beliefs--not our greed or our basic struggle for survival--will be the ultimate downfall of homo sapiens.

i just noticed you wear less black and more white why

cause I'm more light and less dark

    16. kerli

      what exactly is bubble goth?

making beautiful things dark and dark things beautiful. Creating happiness from sadness, transmuting energy.

    17. kerli

      do u smoke pot?

I used to but I can't anymore. It makes me depressed.

I noticed that in one of your interviews a few years back you said that you didn't like to categorize your music into a genre such as rock or pop but that it was simply a language of the heart. Now you call your music bubblegoth, what changed your mind?

BubbleGoth is more of a mindset, artistic direction than just music. BubbleGoth is also fashion, the community of MoonChildren that embrace all aspects of their life and learn to create light within darkness. I'm always playing with darker themes in my videos and it's all about overcoming pain, really. The music on the new album as well is with a positive message but when you really listen to it, most of it is about the struggle to become beautiful. It's romantic and fantastical but it doesn't come from a bubbly place. It comes from a place of truly working on yourself to be happy. I could so easily be a very dark person cause everything around me since I was little was dark. Instead, it's transmuting that darkness into a lesson of learning empathy, to find that light in the dark.
My fashion is always inspired by these two opposites as well. It's a lot of cyber and gothic themes mixed with lolita and ethereal things but it's never done the traditional way and you can't really go and buy that fashion cause I make everything I wear.
BubbleGoth is also about us creating this fashion, this lifestyle of living by our own rules and integrity, love and unity.

I wanna see more GOTH in the bubblegoth! ILU

I know! Vespertine tells me all the time that I need more goth in my bubblegoth. I need to get on it!:)

    20. VESPERTINE

      Do you celebrate holidays?

Yeah, sort of. I don't have a tremendous affinity for the ones for which you can buy greeting cards, but there are certain days of the year that I consider tremendously special on a personal level.
