      So I'm supposed to ask you, what makes a Canon better than a Nikon?

      Canon is the number 1 brand, Nikon is second. It really depends on the features and lenses you want with a camera, so it's mostly personal opinion, but quality of the pictures is important too. Go to your flickr, and use the camera finder app thing. You can see the top 5 cameras of each brand, and some pictures that people have taken. It's a cool feature, and it has helped me with my camera choice. I of course looked up reviews on many websites of each camera that I was interested in. Don't just get a camera that looks nice, research is required to get a quality one.
