I knoooooooooooooow! I've been unbearably busy after the new year but I'm finally getting around to getting more disciplined about posting.
-
I use a humble nikon D3000 with a 35 mm lense. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.
-
Funny you should ask! I'm in the process of designing her blog at this very moment! I'll make a post about it in the near future.

I'm an accounts director at an office in downtown Portland. Since my day job doesn't exactly convey who I am or what I enjoy doing, I just refer to my day job as "the office". Although I currently spend more time planning weddings then going to the office, I plan to transition onto full time wedding planning when my husband completes his education.

I really cant say much for current trends, they come and go so quickly it's not worth getting into the hype. I do like that people are getting away from the DIY and "rustic" looks and going for classic, timeless feel.

I pretty much wear anything I can get my hands on. I don't go with any brand or color in particular. My skins is pretty fair so any color looks decent with it. My only trick is taking some light shimmery eye shadow and brushing it along the top of my cheek. It's kinda weird, I know, but it adds a little dewy look to my face.

Gee, thanks! I use "Ravish Me Red" by Revlon. Its the only red I've been able to pull off without looking like a clown.
-
I work long hours in front of a computer and when I'm not doing that, I'm working long hours planning weddings.

mushroom. is that a vegetable? I think it's actually a fungus. So I guess onions.

I have such fond memories of my childhood. I grew up with four siblings and we were born so close together that we felt more like friends than brothers and sisters. My best memories are of my siblings and me spending summers in Carmel, picking cherries, riding bikes and swimming in lakes. I couldn't single any of those memories out and call one the best. My childhood was the best.

I actually really love the Pacific Northwest. I'm not a big fan of hot weather or big city life, so Portland is just perfect. I feel pretty blessed surrounded by the beautiful mountains and ocean. That's not to say I wouldn't love a little summer house in Italy one day, but I would really just be spoiling myself.

The first move? As in who approached who first? My husband. I knew within the first hour of meeting him that we were going to get married. He knew within the first hour of meeting me that he couldn't stand me. But I let him make up his own mind and over time, my consistent awesomeness won him over. I never once in that time approached him and told him what I thought of him.

Maybe Stella or Sienna or Eloise or Eleanor. I don't give situations like this much thought, unfortunately.

My hair has always been so long. I'd say it's been down to my waist before but that was when I was a wee child.
-
well, yeah. I didn't think that was a secret.

being a recluse who watches endless hours of 90's sitcoms can turn one witty.

A.) Not being more serious about my education (high school and college)
That's the only big regret I have that spawned negative consequences and wasted a lot of precious time.
Also, there was this time I cut my bangs at 4:00 in the morning after cramming for finals. That was a huge mistake. -
Oh boy do I love weddings! I love how multifaceted weddings are. For me, watching a wedding unfold is like watching a symphony. My heart skips a beat when I witness all the elements of a wedding orchestrated together into a spectacular bonding of personalities and souls. Nothing like it, I tell ya! But as much as I love weddings, my goals have always been more family oriented. Since my family life always takes precedence, I've become more selective in the projects I take on these days and I've noticed a trend that some of my projects aren't wedding related at all. Styling events is really my "career goal", never at the sacrifice of my family, but always for those who love a good party like I do.
