For the most part, I try to use natural light as much as possible. I like that, because then I can focus on engaging the subjects and paying attention to gestures and expressions, instead of paying attention to the lights. And in the studio I currently have, I'm able to use natural light nearly every time I shoot. However, when i do use some lights, I just set up one big softbox and that's it. At a wedding I'll use a flash at the reception.
