hey everyone!

just wanted to say that i am very sadly closing my formspring account today. you can still ask me anything you want on my tumblr blog: www.juliatrotti.tumblr.com (just press message) so nothing really has changed, just the place i'll be answering all my questions.

on tumblr you don't need to make an account to ask anon questions, and if you ask me off anon i can respond to you privately as well if you needed specific help with something :) plus i'll have my pictures and pretty reblog pictures in between all the questions for you to gaze at!

i've downloaded a pdf of all my answers (over 2,000 of them, i can't believe it!) and will be uploading them to my tumblr and my blog (www.jtrotti.blogspot.com) so you can download and read it at any time! i know a lot of you were sad to see all my previous answers go, so i decided to save them & post them somewhere they can always stay.

almost two years! i wanted to take some photos with my hair at this length, because i don't think it's ever been this long before.. so i guess now that i've done that, im going to chop it off again just past my shoulders. it's way too heavy to keep like this and gives me headaches when i put it up but annoys me when i leave it down because of it's length!

to be flown to some remote location in the world and be able to shoot with the beautiful surroundings.

i have always loved tim walker's work! he's just amazing.

for a long time i used to press the shutter on the camera with a 10 second timer and i finally now bought myself a remote.

the road.

yeah i do and i hate it when my computer at night keeps changing the brightness sometimes without me noticing and i over expose my images in editing and have to reedit :( sad times.

i manually colour my videos with curves.

thank you! i work with anyone. i've taken photos of signed models and girls who have never modeled before in their life. i just look for someone who has a passion for it, who is interested in creating the same sort of imagery i'd like to create!

there should be an option either in the top menu or in the right hand side when you're on my profile. formspring is closing soon so i don't know how much longer you'll be able to find those for :(

yep i only use prime lenses now! i have a 24-70 2.8 but i haven't used it in over half a year.. just grew out of it i guess, im more comfortable shooting with primes!

that is entirely up to you! if you feel comfortable to charge them, then i don't see why not! if you have a look at my top smiled responses, i have laid out a list of things to consider when you are putting together your prices. hope that helps x
