the summer Batman came out, we spent a long time at the camp my aunt owns. Long lazy days, lying on the leather couch, sitting on the rock by the pond, swimming in the pond, feeding ducks, killing leeches, hearing loons, crickets, peepers, so loud, so many, so much life. And playing Metroid 2 and listening to Prince's Batman soundtrack CONSTANTLY.
And of course, spending so much wonderful time with my family. The oaky wooden walls, the bumk bed with the old newspaper underneath the top mattress against the wire mesh, poking through, those same funnies from a decade ago, reading them every night. Cracked magazine. Ninja Turtles. All our kitties, hiding on top of the fridge. The old broken outhouse (not used, totally nice bathroom inside cabin), and all the trees. the patches of tiny wild strawberries. The long field near the road, we would play baseball. This is my place of total serenity.
I can just sit on the rock by the pond, and watch the light reflect on the softly lapping water. And I can do this anytime. Thank You. -

But top contenders include Where the Buffalo Roam, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Ghostbusters, Evangelion 2.22, The Big Lebowski, Stand By Me... this list got kind of long so I'll stop now.
