Am I looking? Not actively, no. Would I like to have one? Well, who wouldn't want a nice smelling, smile inducing, thought provoking, fuck swagging, hug giving, hunk of a best friend? Amirite?
As for the concept of monogamy and or cheating, I'm not sure that I believe in either. I find it hard to believe that we can find what we want and need in one person. And even if we could find that person, our being and desires change over time while your partner may not grow in sync.
I do believe, however, in being honest and kind. I have never been nor ever will be unfaithful. If the honest thing is that you're attracted to someone else, then the kind thing to do is not to act upon it while your current someone is still honouring the social contract of being committed to you.
If the honest thing is falling out of love and in with someone new, then the kind thing to do is not to betray the one who still loves you.

I don't think you're a "letcher" per se but I don't think it's a good idea. I'm not sure that most girls are very good and judging who is fit for an enduring marriage at the age of 18. If you really love each other, date her til she's 30. See what happens.
