Hey Jon, I know you're a medium format guy (rightly so) and a Zeiss guy (rightly so) but I wanted to ask if when you were shooting 35 more often, did you prefer the Zeiss to the Nikon lenses? And was the quality/sharpness/contrast that better in your fav?
both have their place. the zeiss lenses are amazing optically. and have amazing distinct bokeh. but they are SLOW as mollasses meaning the throw (focus) is really really slow. not made for anything fast or uncontrolled. if i was shooting fast moving things, zeiss is NOT the answer. hope that helps.
