My New Years resolution was to be a vegetarian, and I have succeeded, but once I noticed too late I was eating food containing "chicken fat" - it was hidden in the ingredients... Since this was not my own choice I consider this as not-breaking-New-Years-resolutions-out-of-my-own-choice. I'm not to blame!
