just wondering about your exposure again. on your light meter do you set the iso to 400 (for 400h)? and then when you meter, you said you meter for the shadows. do you mean by that you are metering zone iii? or ii or iv? thanks for the help!
i set my iso to 400 on my sekonic l508. i retract the bulb (1/2 stop over exposing) then tilt the light meter about 45 degrees from the ground (another stop of over exposing). if the reading says 2.8.5 @ 1/125th, i'll shoot f/2.8 @ 1/125th. if it says 2.8.1 @ 1/125th, I'll shoot 2.8 @ 1/125th. if it says 2.8.9 @ 1/125th, I'll still shoot 2.8 @ 1/125th.
