How do you balance confidence without sounding cocky?
I really don't know. I always think confidence is a belief in yourself-it's quiet-not something you have to tell everyone about-it's personal.
Being cocky to me is a sign of insecurity-truly confident people don't want to make anyone feel 'less than'-which is what cocky people do-their whole goal is to let you know how they are superior to you and everyone else...it's the opposite of confidence really

I like men in general.
I used to have a real thing for older men exclusively. I liked the 28-40 range. If I'm honest mostly because there was always something in them that reminded me of my dad. not that I wanted them to be him but somehow it made me miss him less. Then I realized a man over like 30 wanting a girl in her late teens-early 20s is nothing more than an ego boost for them and a disaster for me. My guy now is in his early 20's and the youngest guy I've ever been interested in. I think the under 25 guys are a much better fit for me.

I grew up sorta Catholic. My parents were pretty secular. We went to Mass on holidays.
When I was 14 I had to go live with my granna and she's ultra Catholic. I had to endure almost 4 years of an all girls Catholic school. It sucked. Lots.
I guess I would describe myself as agnostic-i don't believe in organized religion. I don't believe in heaven/hell all that. I think people use it as an excuse to not be accountable for their own actions or as a crutch to get through their lives. It's all based on fear. I have enough issues with fear in my life.
The thing that pisses me off the most is the notion from some Christians that my life is somehow sad or lacking because I don't believe. It isn't. When I was a teenager and seriously wanted to die there wasn't any comfort for me in believing shit that my brain told me was completely ridiculous. Music saved my life. It's what gets me through rough times.

people being afraid I guess--I think most horrible decisions are brought on by fear on some level-taking it out of the equation would solve lots of shit
What made choose the career of a nurse?
my mom was a nurse--we used to go to the hospital to eat dinner with her if she worked in the evening. I loved everything about it-the noise and chaos but most of all the people--every day something different-and interesting-I love people and their stories and if you sit in a hospital cafeteria for a while you hear happy-sad-everything in between-i always knew it was what I wanted to do
