I can't say it's abnormal. Human interaction ("IRL") is kind of dying out. It's easier here because you can hold people a distance. There's so many people with so many differences that it's very simple to find common interests. It's harder in reality.
I know I think about some friends (a very good friend in particular, who I talk to via skype almost every other day [she lives in England]) who I've met through internet and would definitely rather have than most of my real life friends. I know it sounds very... sad, I guess. I don't really know how to explain it. It kind of sounds like I'm a hermit.

The Simpsons doesn't really make me laugh anymore. Futurama has gone down a bit too, but not as badly. I just feel like all shows in general I used to watch are going to shit :l

It's not really my business to say what's right and what's wrong, but hey, love is love. I think it's great you found someone, even if it's through the Internet. And good luck on meeting her.
