I remember there was this great sarcastic quote, I forget who said it, some premier of Newfoundland, I think. He was skeptical of increased funding for the military, and said something to the effect of "oh yes, we're so defenceless against enemies. In fact, I lie awake every night fearing St. Pierre and Miquelon will invade."
