Even if you regard a fetus or an inseminated ovarian egg to be a baby, prohibiting a woman's right to abortion only causes more death and suffering overall.

It's justifiable. Whether or not a person is comfortable with the far greater possibility of certain death in a motoring accident, refusal to wear a seatbelt or helmet inherently endangers the rights of others.

Barack Obama is a statist and Ron Paul is a fundamentalist. Obama concedes to corporate power, whereas Ron Paul, who claims to be a libertarian, prioritizes the prejudices of state governments before the rights and freedoms of individuals. I come to a conclusion that I would support a candidate who would ultimately be rational, intellectual and reasonable, compared to the dichotomous and bleak absurdity I'm being made to choose between.
