Sure. But if you're attracted to one another, best to act on it right away and get it out of the way. :)
-
Fun to watch others dress up?
-
Nope. Sometimes I like silly and meaningless drivel. For reals. :) It's great when it does have a purpose/meaning/message but not always necessary for me.
-
Not just you.
-
I don't stand for BS. I call people out on their shit most of the time. Unless I'm in a good mood and they are nice, then I'll try to sidestep it. :)
-
If I'm watching it, then how can it be bad? :)
-
Well, not a WOTW type event, but people get fooled on Twitter all of the time. Don't think something like that is possible to happen again as information is so easily accessible in seconds.
-
Considering I used to be an actor and dated quite a few...I'm guessing you mean famous ones. :) Seriously dating? As in she'd take me seriously or I'd take her seriously? Either way, too many to mention.
-
I think that's pretty obvious by their characterizations. Oh, yeah. And I don't care. ;)
-
I've got a pretty eclectic taste in bands so not really ashamed in my choices. Suppose there are some pop music types that I enjoy that people would make fun of. I dig the likes of UK's pop princess Cheryl Cole and Katy Perry's stuff is catchy as all get out!

COMIC NEWS INSIDER, natch. ;)
I listen to a ton of podcasts. And not to be pretentious but several from the BBC are my faves. I did a list of what I'm listening to on my tumblr recent.

Here's the link to all of the podcasts I listen to on a regular basis:

Quick faves:
Makebelievers w/ Ming Doyle/Alexa Rose
Adam and Joe (BBC Radio 6)
The Social Hour with Amber MacArthur and Sarah Lane
Scott Mills Daily (BBC Radio 1)
The Nerdist w/ Chris Hardwick -
Uh...out of my depth. Why doesn't Daily Show count? I realize it's humor but some of that is better reporting than so called "real" journalists. This, of course, coming from a Fajournalist (faux journalist) like myself. If I could name one? Hmmm....Jillian Barberie-Reynolds. ;)

Depends on the music. If it's very personal, then I'll think of someone in my life (or out of my life). If it's just fun, I could think of nothing. Let's experiment w/ my iTunes. I'll go through and pick randomly. (Fair warning: I have ALL types of music!)
Jump, Jive & Wail by Brian Setzer Orchestra: I think of the times when swing dancing was in and I used to go a couple of times a week. I had a swing partner and everything. (Wattup, Carrie!)
Wat Pomp? by Die Antwoord: I first heard of them on Attack of the Show so I think of the video for their other song and the reactions of the hosts to it.
Home by "Belle" from Original Broadway Cast of Beauty & the Beast: I think of walking in the snow down the road from work to my Aunt's house in New Jersey. It was when I first moved from Florida in 1994 and I felt pretty alone and was questioning if I made the right choice.
Are You Gonna Go My Way? by Lenny Kravitz: This is embarrassing but funny. I loved this song. And when I did musical theater I sang rock songs for certain auditions. Decided to do this song without ever practicing with a piano. (I only sang along to the track). So when I put the music in front of the piano player & he started playing...it wasn't the same. Instead of the hard guitar sound, this bright piano melody came out. I practically crooned the song. Needless to say, I didn't get the part.
Bad Boy For Life by Mark Curry/P. Diddy/Black Rob: This actually makes me think of a girl I dated. A friend invited me to a party & this girl who looked like the actress Patricia Velasquez from The Mummy movies was there. It was her birthday and I ended up being her present. (Hey, I was in much better shape back then!) This song was playing at one point and we had a whole chat about how it was gonna blow up the charts.
Uncle Fucka from Original Motion Picture Soundtrack for South Park: Reminds me of the summer of 1999 when I was doing West Side Story in Virginia. The movie had come out and the cast saw it a bunch of times and we even incorporated little subtle bits into our show to make each other laugh.
Girls by Beastie Boys: High school. Senior year. A few pals and I did this song (along with Brass Monkey) for an air band competition. Yes, we had those back then!
Fuck You Gently by Tenacious D: Ugh. Makes me think of an ex-girlfriend. We use to sing this to each other jokingly. It was funny. Too bad she was a lying/cheating whore.
This Woman's Work by Maxwell: Yes, I know it's a remake. But I think of when I worked at a speakeasy bar and this song came on. It was near the end of the night so it was pretty sparse. Some weird drunk or drugged out girl started doing an "interpretive dance". We all watched in horror. She really believed she was that good. She wasn't.
Any Queen song: The 1980 Flash Gordon movie. Cuz I loves it so.
Seems like a bunch were just sense memory. Huh. Anyway, you get the idea. -
I am no legal eagle so I have no idea. But it does seem pretty wrong. Did the person steal it/was given it/found it? Some credit to original artist, I would think.
-
I have a pretty eclectic music taste and listen to lots. I buy about an album a week or so. I just downloaded the new Foo Fighters, The Kills and Jessie J. Digging Lil’ Wayne and Beastie Boys new singles too.

I tell them on my podcast, COMIC NEWS INSIDER, after every convention I attend. I have so many. All you name drop haters can tune out right now. :)
All I can say is that it involved a bunch of us (including Cass, McCrea, Layman, etc) in a room drinking. One person passed out & like kids, we started screwing w/ him. McCrea went to draw on him and the guy suddenly woke up, grabbed him by the legs, went to slam him on the bed angrily, seemingly realized what he was doing and gently lay him down on the bed. Then stormed off calling us names. Frightening and hilarious at the same time!
Another...first year at Heroes Con. 2007 maybe? We were told there was a fine "gentleman's club" down the road. Which we all RELUCTANTLY went to. :P The girls asked why we were in town & a few of them were comic nerds. Saw them at the show the next day. Befriended a couple and see them at the show every year now! See, kids? They're not stripping to go to college, they're doing it for comics! -
Nope. I'm not a big book reader as it is so an e-reader is lost on me. Though curious to get one for comic books. Still like the visceral feel of holding a book in my hand.
-
awesome if you would all just realize I am your leader.
-
I can't pick just one! Depending on the day or time I read it, there are different ones that affected me in different ways. Persepolis, Fun Home, Drinking at the Movies, Blacksad, anything by Jason, Freddie & Me, etc.
I'm betting I'd answer even differently tomorrow. I know. I took the coward's way out. :)
