I'm not a morning person. It takes me about an hour after waking up -- and a great deal of coffee -- before I can really talk coherently.
Usually, I roll out of bed around 7:30 in boxers and t-shirt, slip on my dressing gown, make coffee, and read the most interesting articles from a selection of nine newspapers in four different languages for about 45 minutes. While I'm doing that, I breakfast on yogurt, fruit, and orange juice from the bar fridge in the alcove next to my study, and then either start writing for an hour or so, take care of correspondence, or head to the gym. When I come out of the after-gym shower and get dressed, I feel fantastic and ready for another day that is likely to last til 1:00 in the morning.
My housemates don't see me before 10:00 or 11:00, but I do get a lot done in those first few hours. -
I would tame the tigers.

I like spring and autumn best. In winter and summer, time often seems to be standing still. Seasons of change ring more true to me.
If I had to pick only one, it'd be autumn.
Here is what I wrote once about it:
season of mists season of cold-tinged fingertips crackling alive season of falling leaves rain wind & pumpkins on stoops season of candles tea & apple crumbles season of cider & candycorn season of days leaving too early & nights staying with you in the rumpled sheets of morning season of hayrides lanterns & crimson & gold trees that say I'm alive alive alive season of blushing cheeks season of my birth i welcome you -
I don't watch TV much, but I'm on the internet all day and need it for just about anything I do for a living, so I'd probably have to get a job as a lawyer or doctor or something.
