Wow, hard choice. I love Xanth, with the idea that everyone has a magical talent. But I'm awfully attached to my modern amenities, so I'd be tempted to say something like the Dresdenverse - where there's "this world plus..."

I honestly don't follow celebrity stuff, so I have no idea what he's up to or how that differs from how he normally is. I figure that celebs are just people (albeit people with the boon of lots of resources and the bane of constant spotlight on them) and I'm the last person with the right to chide others for their foibles or stupidity.

Yes, very much, although I don't get to play often. I don't really care about systems (or even settings). It's really all about the player group for me.

How they treat the people around them.

I actually don't follow comics that much. I used to be a Marvel girl - Excalibur and X-Men specifically.

Changeling: The Lost Revised. Go back and smooth out all the rough edges, bring in mechanics experts to really file down the gear-box, and rev it up to 11 in terms of darkness and madness.

Dorothy Parker. Because her "teaching" would likely include a lot of martinis at the Algonquin.

This time of year, it's hard to beat Kermie, especially for his rendition of The Christmas Wish from the Muppets album with John Denver...

I've loved horror since I was a young kid. I discovered a collection of shorts by Hitchcock in my middle school library, as well as "I Will Make You Disappear" by Carol Beach York... I loved Stephen King as a youth (before I had kids... I'm not as into it now, but not sure if that's timing, parenthood or just getting tired of fairly predictable storylines over and over.)

Rehab by Amy Winehouse - it's rockin', poignant, in my range, and never fails to get a response from an audience.

Re-reading The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher.

Well, at the moment - projects for the house. Packing, organizing, or doing some sort of home improvement. Once that's wound down a bit, maybe surfing online looking for the perfect place to rent in Gresham, or looking for tips for staging or home selling.

One thing I really like about this area is the monsoons. I love thunder and lightning, and the storms here are just amazing. One thing I really dislike is how remote it is from everyone and everything. I am an extrovert and dislike feeling isolated. Having to drive 2 hours to get to an airport to spend several hundred dollars to fly to any other area is just too much. Also, the remoteness limits your options for things like education, health care, shopping, and entertainment.

That's so hard to say. I've been very fortunate and been treated very well in life. One of the nicest was the Viking buying me musical instruments even though I have yet to successfully learn one. I've been gifted, at various times, with several drums/bodhrans, a penny whistle, a guitar and the like, just because he knows I want to learn to accompany myself even though I've never done it yet.

The Pacific Northwest, preferably right around (but not in) Portland, Oregon. Our first house together was in Vancouver, WA, which is just across the river from Portland. Small town feel, but 5 minutes from downtown Portland and all it offers. That's pretty much heaven for me.
