Well ever since 2006 when I made the switch to Macs, it felt great. At first it was slightly confusing but after a few months I loved how Macs worked and have used iMacs for my video editing ever since. Render time will definitely be something you'll have to deal with in the journey of creating videos, but obviously a faster mac (or PC) would likely mean shorter render times. Only problem is that the faster models with more "kick" usually can get pretty expensive. Best of luck to you in your search for the right computer for the job! :)

Nope nope, not at all! I still have shy-episodes here and there, and they're okay to have. Filmmaking may often be a personable thing that requires conversation with other people, but the vast majority of the process is a self-oriented journey. The writing, the planning, the editing and many other factors often are meant to be things you do on your own. Just because you're a shy filmmaker doesn't mean you can't make great great stuff. :)

Nope, but I've had many friends who have. I've been offered it dozens of times but relatives on one side of my family are constant users and I don't want to be like them. People who smoke weed are not bad people, I just don't want to get into that stuff because I've seen what it can do as far as addiction and finances and all that jazz.

haha that film was one of the several projects I loved dearly but wasn't able to finish. One of the lead actors moved away before filming the final big scene. I might try and refilm it though with my newer equipment and perspective. The story is still imprinted on my mind quite sharply so it couldn't hurt to try.. :)

Not anymore.. When I was younger I did get envious and it was foolish to do. Nowadays I admire instead, like when I see work that amazes me I would be jealous of its successes back when I was in my mid-teens, but now I applaud it and am inspired by it. It is better to see the good then the bad in things.

Yes! Lately I haven't even been using any extra microphones for my material because the in-camera microphones aren't that bad at all. If you DO run into audio issues when looking back at the footage just try and re-record JUST the audio / dubbing. It might be a little strange at first but you can recapture audio and place it over where the sounds/dialogue should go and it can match perfectly on most occasions. If you time it perfectly your audience won't even be able to tell it was re-recorded. :)

It's a risky transaction sometimes.. But overall I think it works out well. YES I would be nervous about someone wanting to overshadow my creative outlook, but if I respect them as a creator/artist in their own right, or if they're a good friend of mine, then I will be more than happy to endorse their input in a project. Have actually done this several times recently too. :)

I have not been to it.. But it sounds awesome. Especially considering this past week is really when Potter-Fever has truly hit me and made me want to watch a harry potter marathon and all that jazz :P
And thanks for still being a fan these days! -
Thank you! And to you as well mysterious person!

I have had this happen before. I kind of just ran with it. I mean, not literally with the kid, I mean like acted like it was a normal everyday occurrence. I wasn't mad or anything. Kid didn't bite me either, so that's good. :-)

I also look older.. Maybe one day I will cut off the locks again, but for now I like to keep it longer.. If that is the case though, and many people agree with it, then maybe I will cut it short soon so I will look hotter/sexier/cuter for my girlfriend :)

I'm not sure if I understand the question lol? I came up with the name in junior high school because I loved anything that had to do with "ice" because it was "cool". And Jaguars were/are awesome animals, and my name starts with a "J" too. Next thing you know, I was using Ice Jaguar Productions as my brand-name, and still love using it. :)

it's very cold these days.. VERY rainy yesterday and today, too.. It's drowning weather, literally..
