It would probably make us even more socially reclusive than ever before. Advancements in technology have always been liable for abuse. We'll probably get so taken by the "4D TV" (as you put it) fever that unhealthy attachment to it will result; we'll end up forgoing real touch for artificial touch. We'll be even more deluded into thinking we know what's going on in the real world in the comfort of an armchair. So, my answer: Bad.
