If you're a designer what's the function versus form all about?
I actually wrote this really long answer and then I stupidly hit the back button by accident. I can't be fucked writing a long one again so here.
form = aesthetics
function = what something is used for.
Should something be made better looking if it works just fine the way it is?
Think about those fancy cappuccino makers at coffee houses. Does the bright red lacquer that makes the machine look oh-so- retro make any difference to how it works? No. So what's the point?
