I started out on the Nikon D80. I'm going to get the Contax 645 this year, as my main camera, but would love a Hasselblad someday! :)

I'm a natural light photographer so the only time I use my flash is if the reception is really dark.

Thanks! If they copied something I've done before I can't do anything about that, because you don't have a copyright on your ideas. If they actually stole my photos & put them on their sites then I'd contact them to tell them to immediately take them off or legal action would happen. If someone steals your work it's their loss far more than it is yours though!

It was very expensive... I don't use any accessories, but the lens I use 99% of the time is my 50mm 1.4! It's always been my favorite!

Thanks so much! :) Get your camera & go take pictures of everything that inspires you! I get a lot of inspiration from driving around the country & looking at my favorite magazines. Don't focus too much on what everyone else is doing, because it'll distract you from having your own style. When I started 7 years ago I loved taking photos of nature (bugs, birds, trees, flowers) & that evolved into my love for taking detailed shots at weddings! Also, make sure you learn how to shoot manually & pay attention to where your lighting is!

I try to get perfect exposures, in camera, so I don't have to do a lot of editing afterwards. All I do in Photoshop is adjust the contrast a little, use the curves tool, & when blogging I sharpen a little. All of the edits I do are my own so you just have to play around with it until you like what you see! If you can get perfect exposures in camera & know your lighting (natural of course) then you won't have to do a lot of editing either. :)
