I am not sure how to take this. Is this a request? A statement? *sigh* I finally get a Formspring question, and it's too cryptic to answer. :(
-
I'm totally a 10. Totally. I think I could rock it in mere seconds. Thanks.

Thanks. :)
I'm sure you're beautiful, too!

This made my day! Too bad I didn't see it ages ago when you wrote it. :)
I will keep trying to be me, 'cause now I know at least one person out there appreciates it! lol

I have already taken it, but would love to do it again! I went to Oaxaca, Mexico with my husband (duh) on your honeymoon.
We luxuriated in a lovely hotel, saw amazing crafts, visited historical places, went to the marketplace, walked and took photos--- all while I was really dang pregnant. So I guess Ara was there, too! ;)
I'd love to go back, but I'd also love to go to London and Paris with hubby. I've also never been to Disneyworld, and would love to take the kids in a few years.
PS: Also REALLY killing for a visit to one of my other favorite places on earth: NYC. *sigh* -
A remote island? Sounds dreamy, K!
1) My Yu-Be,to keep my skin soft.
2) A high-SPF face and body protectant.
3) Shea butter.
4) My BPAL Morocco (goes everywhere with me!).
5) My razor. What? Hairy legs do a sexy island maiden make. ;) -
1. BPAL Morocco, my favorite scent in the world.
2. Bobbi Brown Corrector to pretend I'm not exhausted.
3. Cuticle Oil
4. MAC Viva Glam VI lipglass
5. Lush Dream Cream
Good question! :) -
I would wake up as myself, but richer.

I worked at an ice cream shop for 5 hours. It sucked. The manager was a total asshat.

Good lord. Why would there be a movie about my life!?
Clearly, my resemblance to Jennifer Aniston renders this question moot. -
Ha! It's nowhere near me. I haven't found great pizza here in VA. I prefer Matthew's Pizza in downtown Baltimore. I also love Giordano's in Chicago and have even had it shipped before. I take pizza seriously.

I have a three-way tie. Sorry. They are all equally terrifying.
1) Spiders. *shudder*
2) Heights.
3) Door-to-door salespeople (including religious sales). -
The BeccaStar, which is a blend of my two girls' middle names. Ara's middle name is Rebecca (we often call her "AraBecca") and Lulu's middle name is Star. :)

YES! Are you talking makeup or clothing?
For clothes, the best thing to do is keep cool tones close to your face and introduce the warm shades at the waist or lower. For example, dove greys look great with a lot of pretty browns and caramels and burgundys. Use those shades for belts and skirts and pants. I like to wear a cool color under an open shirt or v-neck in almost any color.
As for makeup, try mixing pretty taupes and neutral browns with warmer tones. I find I can do a lot more if I use black liner (top, bottom and waterlines) to "anchor" the warm colors. Black is very flattering to cool skins.
If you're super cool-toned (sounds like you are) you will probably need to skip warm blushes, but try some neutral shades with warmer eye makeup. Lips should probably also be cool or neutral, though sometimes really cool-tones can get away with a neutral lipstick topped with a slightly bronze- or gold-flecked gloss.
Please feel free to ask follow-up questions if you need to! I'm always afraid I haven't answered a question fully.

My kids. I am absolutely blown away by how open and full of life my eldest is at all times. Her emotions are always accessible, and she finds delight in everything. My youngest is only 8 months old, but she's so damn happy all of the time. She personifies the word "jolly".
They're both beautiful and inspirational. We should all live like kids in some ways! -
I know this is going to sound smart-alecky, and I really don't mean it to, but can't think of another way to say it, so here goes:
Is your pink-based foundation too light?
Another question: are you trying drugstore foundations, or have you gone to a makeup counter to get "matched" (and I use the term loosely since a lot of counter salespeople couldn't match someone if their life depended on it).
I suggest maybe trying a sit-down at Bobbi Brown's counter. All of her foundations have a touch of yellow in them so you don't look like you have a calamine lotion mask on, but you can get them to suit cool-toned skin (I found a great match!).
The trick at Bobbi's counters is that they ALWAYS swatch multiple colors on your face. They are trained not to guess, but to keep trying foundations until it's clearly too wrong. I was stunned to find out that my match was 3 shades darker than I thought it would be. STUNNED. And I'm really good at matching skin to foundation! The makeup artist was surprised, too, which goes to show ya. :)
Also, the great thing about Bobbi Brown is that they will give you samples to take home and work with before you invest in their product.
Hope this helps. Please feel free to ask follow-up questions or email me if you like (jen@beautyschoolblog.net).

Wow. I have a bad memory. Really bad.
I have no idea how old I was for this, but I remember playing on the hardwood floor and getting a splinter up underneath my fingernail. I had to go to the hospital to have it removed.
I guess that's the earliest. -
I don't.
Isn't that terrible!? I was born and raised in MD, but now live in VA (my husband's home), and I'm not a fan.
My brothers and I were somehow blessed with a New England-type mentality, and I also like NYC. I'd like to relocate north one day, but it will only be by dragging the kicking and screaming body of my husband. :)
