YES can can still love you. God will redeem you. If you are repentant of your sin and desire a relationship with God you can be made whole! That's the beauty of God. You will continue to struggle in life, but that does not define you. Your past mistakes don't define you. The Blood of Jesus defines you and He will meet you with a sea of grace when you fall. Your desire is obviously not to live in sin- so believe that you are alive in Christ.

We would LOVE to come to the UK. It's just so hard to get over there and have shows. We've talked to Rend Collective about doing a tour with them in Europe, but again, it's so hard to afford to go over there and the Christian music scene is way smaller than the US! We'll keep talking about it and see if it can't happen sometime!

Man. Ok, given your premise, here's my response:
I personally don't believe that same-sex marriage is justifiable. Civil union is fine, but the country doesn't need to redefine the meaning of mariage. If fathers or mothers are optional, then they aren't necessary, and that is a bad position to stand on. But on the other hand, the states don't need to be the moral police for people. Keeping gay marriage illegal won't prevent more homosexuality. Also- Don't get pastors and preachers involved! Mariage is defined by scripture and thus it's values are held by the clergy. So, is the argument to get pastors to change their beliefs? Or is it to be recognized by the state? If two men want to live together; claim their taxes together; and get a discount on their insurance; change their last name; that's fine. They can find someone to marry them, but if a pastor is going to be put on trial for not changing his beliefs, then there's more to the issue.
This topic is really too big to host on this forum, but I'm simply trying to answer your question.
I'm sure I'll get flack from this response, but hey-I believe what scripture says, and i'm not in charge of any governing bodies! -
I'll keep an eye on it and let everyone know if/how I can transition. Just got an update that they might be able to still work.

God helps us do amazing things. He will give you the right words at the right time. If you have a gift and a blessing from the Lord to do what you do, He'll open doors. Just don't seek the glory of being in front of people. That will mislead your heart and be more like a poison than a ministry. Feel confident in the Lord, talk to those people like they were your friends, and study the scriptures. There's nothing worse than someone who's really passionate about speaking to people but with nothing to say.

Not really knowing the circumstance I think it's always good to err on the side of grace. Seventy times seven, right? If she hurts you again, I think it's safe to say being in a relationship isn't helping her spirit, but you can still try to help her even if you're not together.

YES. We would love to play in Australia. But alas, it's really expensive and difficult to play shows abroad. Maybe we can work something out in the near future. Wheat Bix...Musk sticks...roos... awesomeness

That would be amazing! We have many friends in/from South Africa. It's really expensive to get the band out there, but if there were enough shows and time we could make it work! Perhaps one day in the future...

It's not in the game plan, but you never know! Sometimes we have moments of spontaneity...

I have to ask myself everyday is this is where God has me, or if this is where I have myself. If your intent is to serve God, then what you're doing doesn't seem to weigh as much as why you're doing it. Go for what you're excited about and what makes you come alive. If your intent is to serve God rather than edify yourself then what what you do becomes ministry. BUT, don't be afraid or ashamed to own up to a place that God may have you. You may not end up someplace that you "wanted," but rather, God saw fit to put you there for a purpose that has yet to be revealed to you. Walk through doors, take risks, but most importantly leave your hands open to what God has to work in your life.

The Struggle was actually written by Mike for something, and then our graphic artist used it as a model for the letters in the band name. Pretty neat huh. It's not Mike's handwriting though. Don't think it could be recreated necessarily.

Hey friends, I wanted to do this to open a new avenue (no pun intended) online. I have a lot of questions about things that aren't often talked about. Why not ask questions together? If I don't have the answers, I'll certainly look for them alongside you.
