I think that stuff is a solid fit for all parties. Assuming it continues to develop, I think you'll see that most of the people involved in what you're calling the journalist side of eSports refer to themselves as commentators and analysts, rather than journalists. Sort of like traditional sports. You may run into cases where someone can cover both beats, but they're such different things that it's definitely not guaranteed.
