unfortunately for me, no. i've always had this mental image of how i want my partner to be. but i fell in love thrice and none of them fits my "ideal man" perfectly. maybe it's true what they say, love is all about accepting the whole package rather than just picking out the good bits. sometimes love knocks unexpectedly and you fall for someone without even knowing why. so, yes, i have my own vision of the "ideal man", but i can always fall for the guy who feels right for me. :D

No, not necessarily. Maybe smart people do tend to over-analyze or complicate things, but then again, I believe that all individuals have equal chances for happiness regardless of how intelligent they are.
