It's a 5 way faceoff between The Rock, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H and Shawn Michaels to figure it out. All of them were phenomenal athletes who knew how work the crowd by cutting a good promo just as well as they knew how to work a match. They don't quite make them like they used to.

I'm not sure that it could work outside of other mediums, as people seem more aware of it happening in music than anywhere else - for example, if say, the Dark Knight Rises gets leaked online before it comes out in cinemas, would they just put it up as a legal free download? HELL NO - but fair play for them for doing so. It'll wind up winning them more fans than losing them, and they'll make a hell of a lot more money by said fans going to live shows than they will from pure piracy. Plus, there's no bad feelings, and if the fans like it enough, they might return the good favour and buy a hard copy anyway.

It's not the first time that Earache done this though. Gama Bomb's "Tales From The Grave in Space" was released in a similar manner, free download a month before the actual CD dropped in stores and on iTunes (it's quite good if you're into speed metal btw \m/ - get it here - http://goo.gl/AibkJ )

Hoooo boy this one could potentially land me in hot water. But I think that it's warranted. Considering how much heat he's drawn unto himself for his style of play these last 2-3 seasons, it's indisputably deserved. The Penguins should be strong enough to make it past the first round of the playoffs, regardless of who they wind up playing against, so he'll be back before the season's finished, but 14-17 games (depending on how long the first series lasts) definitely seems warranted.

Ray Shero deserves a stick-tap for giving him a "clean up your act or clear out your locker" ultimatum. Designated enforcers have to know the difference between clean and dirty hits, and if he continues to draw negative heat towards the team, it'd certainly have a negative effect on locker room morale. What happens if he brings his dirty play into practice? Injures one of his own team-mates? That's a risk that's not worth taking if you ask me.

I think it's a bit sketchy that he didn't receive any further discipline, to be quite frank about it. I know many people have said that maybe the game misconduct was punishment enough (even if it was for his own safety, from players and fans alike), but even one game would have been a good call for the NHL to make in their aim to try and stamp injuries and headshots out of the game. (I saw the video enough times to notice Zdeno's glove in Max's face just before the collision happened)

I've also seen calls as well to change the layout a bit at the Bell Centre. The glass between the benches is at an awkward position, and around the rink as well is seamless and has a lot less give when it comes to playing around the boards - basically making the dump-and-chase style of game extremely dangerous for teams that use that strategy (like Florida for example)

Overall though, I'm just glad that Pacioretty is going to be able to make a full recovery, even if it might wind up cutting his career a little short.

It would certainly be an incentive for me to get another microphone (my own's busted atm), but I don't really have an opinion on it one way or the other, as I'm primarily a single-player gamer anyway.
