I would probably have to say grindcore. I know it's supposed to be structure-less, but that just results in noise to me and I can't find a shoe-in to the genre. That being said, you can stick "core" on pretty much anything and just get a more frenetic version of the genre, which is alright by me! I can take or leave things like happy hardcore, but I don't tend to come across them too much.

As an aside, I have a Romeo and Juliet style relationship with Brutal Deathcore - awesome name for horrible, horrible music.

This week's episode of Misfits makes me think I'd like it to be a pretty girl, just so I could see how it felt. Also to see if you really do get hit on that badly by anyone and everyone.

Either that or Ryan Gosling. Any man who says he wouldn't want to look like that is a filthy liar.

Probably Kimberley from Power Rangers, or Jet or Lightning from Gladiators.

I know, it was a good one this week I thought! Should I be doing less? I normally aim to post everything I listened to for more than half an hour.

Thanks very much - I found that you can CMD-drag it off there as well. It's not the same as the UI for doing it normally, so it stumped me a bit!

I don't understand the "which 'day of the'" question, sorry :)

Hey, I'm afraid I don't. It was just a little test to learn Python syntax. I haven't touched it since I wrote that post, sorry.

I shave off the beard quite frequently (well, twice/three times a year) and every time I do, it's immediately a mistake. I don't like my face without a beard at all.

Dreads are getting /really/ long, so I will probably have to lose them in the next few years. I don't want to, but I can tell it's going to have to happen. I'm just not sure what sort of hair I'll have after that. I wouldn't get dreads again after this - they're way more work than they should be.

Nothing. I've made some stupid mistakes that haunt me just as I'm drifting off to sleep, and I wouldn't be mad if I didn't have that, but I can't categorically state that they didn't have an overall positive effect on my life and personality today.

Totally in awe of this question. I have absolutely no idea how to answer this well, and I don't want to cheapen the question by trying!

I'm not really one for cocktails. They taste really nice, but they're so weirdly named that you can never find them in different pubs so I just don't bother. I quite like a White Russian, but they get me ruined and they give you the worst hangovers!

Kinda have to be a bit careful with booze because a lot of animal products are used in the production process of a lot of brands, so I don't drink them.

I like vodka, Jack, SoCo and Stowford Press, but I usually drink Strongbow because it's cheap and plentiful.

A nice big bowl of dry fruit and fibre, whilst the dog eats his food.

As a treat sometimes I have frosties with orange juice instead of milk, or buttered weetabix, but I'm told that those are gross so I don't have them a lot.

I don't think it counts, but I used to speak Spanish pretty well. I can still hold a conversation with someone who's patient and maybe has some sort of experience working with children, but other than that it's only scripting and programming languages I know!

The languages I want to learn are dictated by the places I want to go, really. The thought of being in a country and not being able to communicate should I need to makes me feel quite claustrophobic. As such, I would like to be conversational in Spanish (again), Cantonese, Japanese, German and Greek.

He always seems to be happy, even when he does something naughty and gets told off he's all wagging his tail and wanting to play. I dunno whether I like that about him or envy him.

      It's a dog's life.

I like to see language used correctly. It pleases me to see blog posts written with perfect punctuation and spelling, and I generally invest a lot more in what I'm reading if the author has a good grasp of spelling and grammar.

That being said, language is only a vessel for communication, and if the communication is successful the language construction is somewhat irrelevant.

I consider myself to have a pretty good grasp of English. I tend to overuse hyphens and commas, but that's because I usually write with the same pace that I talk so it's unavoidable unless I proofread everything. Does get difficult to read at times, though!

I do have a few specific pet hates, but it's to do with misusing words, not misspelling. It makes my skin crawl when people say they should "of" done something, or when people say "hence why". But, again, I don't criticise people for this because it still results in effective communication, which is kinda the point.

Haha! We're a materialist machine as consumerists, and the seeming nothing-for-something nature of consumption of digital media is largely dissatisfying for some people. I don't have stats, and nor do you, but I will continue to buy physical media for as long as I can!
