No way it's never too late. Just remember that paddling is 80% of surfing. Be prepared to put in the time at the beach paddling before you get your strength up. Just don't give up, keep going back to the beach every weekend no mater what. In a couple months you'll start to get the hang of it.

My buddies and i would drive to North Narrabeen or Bronte beach every single weekend, since i was 16! Growing up in Penrith made us all love the beach even more!!!

As an Australian from the western suburb of Penrith, NYC feels like I'm on another planet sometimes. Life in this city is extremely fast past, but incredible fun!! I miss the Australian beaches, Byron Bay, our Aussie fresh fruit and yogurt and our free spirit!!!

I wake up at 5am, get into vh1 for the first meeting at 6am, then I'm in meetings and preparation none stop until 9:50am, then we go live at 10am! : )

almond milk + half glass
Acai powder + 1 spoonful
blueberries + small handful
bananas + 1 banana
honey + 1 spoonful
mint leaves + a couple
protein powder + 1 spoon

New York is amazing!!! It's one of the only cities in the world where you can do whatever you want whenever you want. This city has a really fast pace of life that you don't realize you are living until you leave. Sydney = my home. Yes of course I miss Australia and I always will, however I have a few more goals to kick in the usa before I come home. : )
